10.43 TB mining and I haven't gotten a GODDAMN single coin in four days!!!  WTF!!!

Pool or solo ?

I have 25TB, I find between 2 to 3 blocks a day on average solo mining.

what your stagger optimization?

I didn't run the optimization yet, since I have two incomplete plots and my plots are larger than 4TB. I split one with 5.5TB, because the PC rebooted when the miner crashed and had to make the second part starting at a new start point. And the other I split 8TB and 6.5TB, same issue and solution. I get a few errors with the incomplete plots, but still finding blocks ok. Maybe down the line, I'll redo the incomplete plots and do the optimization afterwards.

It's been a while since I posted this, but if people want to contribute to data mining data and/or look at peoples results: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uaXMLjLt90Ms1oRjcjz-eYPOkARtNS8JdrKFKOJdg4o/edit?pli=1#gid=0

I just updated the spreadseet with my recent changes, and put in a freeze header and colums to make it easier to navigate.

I did a similar sheet, concentrating on plot generation speed, cpu and cores etc.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XxyQ1eH2oL4QKfxHkSFHHCGOGaE1FEPDnBt2WbA_oE4/edit?usp=sharing

btw. got a block this morning at 39s, that was a fast one, now i have 3 since i started solo mining. 6,8TB plotted now. 5*4TB USB3 disks on its way from the retailer, that ought to increase my blocks/week.

I should have freeze the row with the usernames, forgot about that and thanks for doing it. I never got a block with a time lower than 101s.

Burst will likely fall to 50 satoshi by Saturday and then 0 sat by the end of next week. Cut your loss now before its too late
Feed the whales and regret your decision in few months

You are so right in all what you write here. I was very close to just selling ALL my burst and buy some more harddisks.. but then i decided just to buy some more harddisks. This is the most expensive coin ever i mined - i mean - 20TB doesn't come cheap, and the CPU power cost from plotting is staggering. Before You know it, you are trading with other burst users directly from your wallet and that is where the world comes apart for good ;-)

Everyone please sell and scare the weak miners away due to no apparent profitabillity, so i can get some more blocks before it gets too difficult.

Haha, your funny....

hi
i have 4Tb hdd with 36plot each plot file 100GB .i create my plots with gpu ploter v2.1.1 for exampl i make 100gb plot file like this 322339184730955748_0_409600_2048 then optimize wit dcct windows plot optimizer when program optimize my plot stagger changed to 322339184730955748_0_409600_409600 now i have 36 plot with 409600 stagger size i run the miner in v2pool now 12 hours i cant find any shares but before i find many share with my old plot 322339184730955748_0_409600_2048.i optimize with merge tool example this is my config in merge.bat filemerge 3226819184730955748_0_409600_2048 when finished optimized automate changed to the 322339184730955748_0_409600_409600 and then i removed last plot file.

What is wrong my plots guys?

Pool or solo ?

Solo

Mine in a Pool, 10TB is to little for solo mining. Under 50TB I would not try more solo mining.
I have 70TB and found 2-6 blocks every day. Without stagger optimization, 50% of my plots are in windows with low stagger and i have to little free space. Smiley

2-3 blocks with 25TB is lucky or highly optimized.

so uray, it's the merge tool fucked, or your miner can't utilized 1000000 as a value for stagger?

i am not sure what merge tool did, but theoritically or if you see the code
it will use memory of 2x staggersize x 64 byte, so 1M stagger will use 128 MB of ur memory for each plot
on the console did the miner said "done reading plots .... xxxxx nonces", how many nonces did it read, does it equal to the number of nonce your plot file has?
or if you see difference between miner calculated best deadline and confirmed deadline (pool calculated deadline) it probably your plot is damaged, has funky scoop alignment, or your plot data does not same as your filename describe (accountid, nonce start, number of nonce or staggersize)

Now it works, I'm a genius!
I had to change the letter from upper case to lower case, not D but d!  Grin Roll Eyes

didn't make any difference for me, but hey you got it to work finally, genius  Cool

 Grin

I'm finding a lot of blocks with this version wow!  Shocked

How do I add more than one directory path in the conf file? can you give me an example?

from mining.conf included in burst-miner-win64-1.0.7z

    [
       "c:\\pocminer_v1\\plots",
       "c:\\plots"
   ]

Is it better to use different plot directories with the same miner? or is it faster if we open a new miner per every hard rive?

I don't how this is written but I don't think it uses a separate thread for each folder/drive. So basically it would read plots faster with 3 different instances of the miner each pointed to a separate folder/drive than a single miner for all 3.
Maybe Uray will come up and confirm.
I have been using it under linux and it is pretty fast.
But, Dcct's miner seems a bit faster. Both were pointed at the same 3 x 2 Tb drives

it use different thread for every plot, so if one of your plots on different disk, it will read it in parallel

it read all of them, i think the version of my stagger optimizer isn't working right, i'm re-doing the plot with the new cpu plotter, which is much faster and can create better stagger without the need to optimize them

I keep seeing u re plot. How many times have u re plot ? To be honest , i have also re plot many times on the same HDD.

Trying out new things. But i am tired of trying to "optimize" the plot. Spend a lot of time doing it. I will just let it run from now on.

i was wrong about BTC too. I set my sell order at 800. It was too high. Maybe next year. Or maybe never ?
