same problem here with latest miner, it´s ok if every 10min. there is a problem to submit, but its really every 2-3 sub, feels like the pool can´t handle all these miners.

Someone on ebay offered me $300 for my $340 worth of hard drives (4 X 3TB). I countered with $320 and they said ok. I closed the ebay auction to avoid paying ebay fees on the sale, and sent them a paypal invoice, which they promptly paid. This all happened last night.
So when I get home today, I will give each drive a quick format, then pack them up and ship them out at a local UPS store, and get them on their way to Chicago, their new home!
In summation, my profitability from BURST coin wasn't much. The drives cost me $329.92 to acquire. The other drives I used, I already had. I got $310 and change after the Paypal commission was stolen from my money. When I cashed in 14000+ BURST at 698 satoshis it was worth about $50 in BTC.
Last night I transferred my remaining 10,932 BURST coin to C-CEX, where it'll sit until (and IF) the price rises. I think BURST has shot its load, the develpers have taken their profits, and will never get over 500 satoshis again.
My 10,932 BURST is available for sale at 800 satoshis per coin to anyone who wants them. PM me with your offers.
So through my BURST coin experience, I learned new programming manipulations to do plot generation both on CPUs and GPUs, I "borrowed" an AMD 8320 Vishera from the local Fry's store and returned it, I experienced the supreme headache that is Java based mining, and I got some pieces of config file code that will auto restart a program in case it randomly shuts down.
So thats enough of this crap coin for me.
That's the right spirit to enjoy cryptos! You at least will learn or made stuff that you forgotten able to do for long time. It's experience at all. Crypto world is a jungle. Only few people make money, the rest loose or will do not profit. 50-100$ at month you can't define PROFIT. If you work only 2 days in one month in a pub or washing machine centre you will make 50-100$,instead of spent at least 3 hours a day here for the same amount. Yes,Burst is done. Learn and live. We think to be smarter than other,we think that we are the best and other trader are worst. "let's buy burst now, let's mine now, cause when diff increae burst will reach 500-1k satoshi, and then investor will come and we will sell our coin to them". Fact is that all of us think in this way, and this market is done by us. First rules: Never fall in love or make all-in in 1 coin. Take care. These two are funny. Talking shit but still keep coming back. LOL

I have been mining on http://burstpool.ddns.net for over 24 hours. I have one 1TB machine with a different address. It has made around 800 burst in the last day. I have another several machines mining to the pool with a total of around 20TBs mining to the pool. Many of them have been plotting, but the mining they have done is only equivalent to about 700 burst. This is not good...What kind of insight do I have to be able to determine why the 20TBs is mining sooo little? Anything with the configuration I need to specifically look at?

Can somebody help me. I'm newbie. My plots folder is: 6875908045611806854_0_163820_1000 6875908045611806854_163821_163820_1000 6875908045611806854_327642_163820_1000 6875908045611806854_491463_163820_1000 6875908045611806854_655284_163820_1000
Are this plots ok?
I will help you. Save yourself the aggravation and frustration of trying to mine this crap coin. Look at its price chart on C-CEX exchange. The party was over several weeks ago. Find another coin to mine. Tim, why the hell are you still here? If the coin sucks so much, leave already. THIS GOES FOR ANYONE ELSE WHO WANTS TO TALK SHIT ABOUT THE COIN IN THE COIN'S THREAD OR DEDICATED FORUM. SHUT THE FUCK UP, OR GET THE FUCK OUT. Leave the coin for the people who actually care to make it better, and do something about it, instead of you idiots who cry about everything and offer nothing in return to assist. The coin is NEW. The whole system is NEW, the mining style is NEW... there ARE GOING TO BE SOME ISSUES that need to be worked through, but we will get through them. This coin WILL succeed, and you fools talking shit will realize your error, but honestly, if you think the coin sucks and the time of BURST is over, then sell me your coins, I will buy them all at 50-100 sats and get you out of the game. PM me. +1 fabula should join him too and who ever else is negative. Out of the 2 years of crypto I've been in, I never understood these Fudders. First off, your just in for profits, so why do you bite the hand that feed you? ie. the dev made a coin you don't even know how to develop and/or code for yourself. Secondly, why do you try to impose this ideal that you can convince people to stop mining/investing in a coin if they believe in it? It's not like your a prophet, money managing pro or anything like that. Come back when your a millionaire, then you can talk all the 5h1t you want. Lastly, you fudders need to know how to be humble and have respect, that goes a long way in life. If you have the understanding that team work is better than "me me" mentality, you will be more successful in life in general. This coin started around 80 sat, you would only know this if you started on day one. I mined about 350k in coins and still mining until I can't get a block in two days, then I'll just invest/buy only from that point on. I'm in the long term and I also invest in other coins, I will agree that you need to have diversity in cryptos and should have more than one coin invested. This is the same idea in the stock market also with shareholdings.

That should not be necessary. It's remotely possible that your bandwidth to the drives is too slow for simultaneous plotting and mining. You might want to measure it. Also, the mining process is stochastic and has high variance. It would be better to wait a few days for a more precise average. Lastly, check the total size of the plots in the 20TB farm. That is the key factor.

Are there advantages/disadvantages to the size of the plot files? or the stagger used to create the plots?? I have tried creating a few different plots, and seem to have better results with just a few plots that totalled 400gb, than I am with 3TB of plots that are broken up into 100gb plots. what is the best way to go about this??

Higher stagger = less disk seeks Plot sizes don't matter, but smaller plots can be moved around more easily.

tried to stimulate a community in hope for using the burst as their transaction base. complains are around set up mining processes as usual... one member give a good idea which i have no idea if that would be possible : integrate the miner with wallet if... (BIG IF) that possible, imagine how cool this coin, open wallet and run the miner, people will keep their wallet online 24-7 to plot and mine

lol why did you copy my post from three pages ago? When u get a very big farm for burst , u might have to hire a full time person to actually help replace fail HDD every now and then. When u replace ur fail HDD , u have to plot again.
Watch this clip from a episode of two and a half men. It is obvious they are hard-drive mining https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XwwiT3LkiQ

I'm a bit late to that party, but the public key thing (needed or not) with bittrex is because they have the fields reversed. I almost gave up on this coin, though the idea seemed cool. (Just heard about it the other day) Use your burst address where the msg part is, and the msg (if indeed you need it)in the address. JUST noticed this when purchasing some burst to send to myself and saw some other new folks had a similar problem. FYI: if you want new people to get into a coin, don't go off on them like they are stupid, when it may be something no one has thought of. I'll go send something to bittrex about it later, right now I want to play with this stuff some.

I have a big problem with using my memory. I am now 9To plots and I can not mine because I did not have enough memory. When I run the minor, the use of the ram is 4GB, then as and extent the use increases and rises arrow just before I submit the pool. my 10TB now requires more than 16GB of ram and my rig stop. I am the only one to encounter this problem?
