After downloading the new 1.3.2.2 wallet for windows. I 'right-clicked "the wallet with my mouse and it says 1.3.2.0.
Anyone an idea what went wrong?

I am looking to get some sdc.. Is price right now good? Over 0.0004 looks expensive! I remember when it was 0.0002!

With the thunderclap and the market release coming soon, you don't have so much chance to see Shadow under 0.0004.  Actually most of us think that 40k will look pretty cheap.

What was the file name you downloaded and when?

For some reason, I don't get screenshot.
In the left bottom of the wallet it says; "shadow v1.3.2.2-1". I guess it what we want to see. Still strange pointing to the wallet before opening says something else. Typing "getinfo" doesn't give any transactions. Did send couple of coins to the wallet, didn't arrive after an hour,
Getting sick the print screem doesn't go.
I do the windows botton and print screen, then try copy paste to paint, nothing comes up, I guess this is the right way to print screen in vista.

Thanks for the update but it is crashing for me. It opens and then says "loading blockchain" and then stops there with an "application not responding" issue. I'm on OSX 10.9.5.

Any suggestions?

Get Synchronized With The New Bootstrap!

With the release of our new and improved ShadowCore client yesterday, we now introduce to you our new and improved bootstrap file, which under tests has shown to get your new ShadowCore client completely synchronized in just a few hours!

*Bootstrapping is the preferred way to get your ShadowCore client synchronized because the client will validate the blocks for extra security against the network.

Speed Up The Process By Downloading The Blockchain

However for those of you who do not wish to wait you can alternatively “cheat” by downloading blockchain.zip and extracting the contents ("blk0001.dat" and "txleveldb") to your “ShadowCoin” data directory (overwriting the existing "blk0001.dat" file and "txleveldb" directory). If you don’t know where to find your data directory, please refer to the wiki: here. This method should have you synchronized in under 10 minutes. The blockchain.zip has been created from the above bootstrap.dat file.

*If you are already synchronized, there is no harm in using either of these methods above, as this will give you a "clean" blockchain, which will further help new wallets synchronize quicker.

Quick Reminder: PoS V2 Hardfork On May 6th!

ShadowCash will be forking on May 6th to switch to PoS v2. This is a mandatory update. Anyone who is not yet running on version 1.3.2.2 should not hesitate and update today. Please refer to our previous development update for more information.

Yup, thanks, not patient enough. . .I tried again with the original files. It sat for about 5-10 minutes then crashed, but after I opened it a second time and it worked no problem.

ShadowMarket Progress Update


Good progress is being made on the Shadow Marketplace. Our developers expect to pick up speed now that all the necessary updates have been made to ShadowCore and a date has been scheduled for the PoS v2 hard fork. We will be working on upgrading ShadowChat for secure messaging, which will be the backbone of the whole market place, using BIP32 addresses for category trees. After that we will be working on anonymous mutltisig transactions. We are aiming to have a beta version ready for public testing and feedback within Q2. ShadowMarket will be the primary focus of our developers and the next feature to be added to the ShadowCore client.

Correct: re-downloading the blockchain solved this problem.
