I was notified via email someone tried logging into my account via blockchain.....

I bought a new asus laptop...go to sync up my wallet... and Boom my coins are all gone.


All 55k. awesome.

All my passwords were pgp encrypted and I just bought this new computer. I had a different password for every wallet ive made.

Personally, i would have kept that amount of coins in cold storage. But it seems that nothing is 100% safe. Bloody scum out there.

This to me is the major flaw in crypto. The decentralised idea is great until it goes wrong like this. At least if your bank account gets compromised, you have a certain level of protection.
Imagine seeing your lifes savings dissapear like that?

i never typed my password on this new computer at all. Ive only typed it on my linux computer........I was waiting all night for the blockchain to sync up and i wake up to a 0 balance but fully synced. So i close the wallet qt, re open it, and bam, No coins. All sent to that address.
