nope i think this coin/wallet is fucking up.. i can't be the only one staking??.. and i closed it down and now there has been no stake for over 50 minutes (didn't unlock to see if chain would move) stuck on 1049992 atm.. i figure coin has forked to my wallet or there is no one else staking at all... either way doesn't look right.. not acting right.. i dunno what to say.. tired of messing around.. gonna ignore for a few days and come back and see what happened after that.  Good luck.

Update :  well it looks like I was the only one staking while everyone updated.. I must have been quick on the draw.. seems to be syncing and staking and none of my stakes ended up to be bad.. I guess I just found it strange that it was just me staking for awhile..lol... sorry for any misconceptions.

I don't know. I have my coins in 4 parts and all 4 gave me interest within 10 minutes.
I am also stuck on 1049992 too but as far as I have observed blocks are moving slowly. in my case it's 50 blocks in 4 hours

I've sent the request to blockexperts to set up an explorer/richlist and I'm working both on repairing and upgrading ours.  Hoping 1-2 days for blockexperts and our old explorer and a week for a upgraded version of ours.

I'm on block 1050666 09:17:59

Thanks for the confirmations, we're currently working on some updates we're hoping will improve the general performance of the wallet, it needs a new resync though as its using a totally different database, so will update once we have tested it compared to the current wallet.

Interesting fact I just noticed on changing details in the OP to reflect the new 25% a year interest, The first year POS made 3m new coins, we now have just over 18m coins in circulation.

That means the market capitalization of Bitstar is around $43-$45K at current BTC prices. Not bad for the first year.

I confirm my wallet is still working good.

By the way do we have any updates about the ATM (even month) release?
I am around one hour away and want to step face to face, send photos etc.

Hey I've been away for a while and when I opened my wallet it won't stake.  I am using the old simple wallet.  I am around block 1057826.  Now when I try to open the new wallet I get an error loading blkindex.dat.  What do I do?  Huh  Sorry if this has been answered already.

Upgrade to the new wallet.  Nothing below version 1.4.0.0 will work anymore.

If your on windows : close bitstar wallet, go to your roaming folder (hidden), and then bitstar folder. Delete everything in there EXCEPT wallet.dat, launch bitstar wallet. This will resync.

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

Trying to update to 1.4 here and whenever I download the .rar file the wallet wont run without the qtnetwork4.dll so I tried extracting all the .dll files into a folder with the wallet and it gives me the blkindex error.......

I had version 1.2 on my computer with some coins in it before I started trying to download the 1.4 and I aside from bitstar I am always paranoid that I'm going to lose my coins somehow when I update to a new version of any cryptocurrency wallet. Could someone maybe give me a scenario where I would accidentally do that? Do the wallet.dats always stay on my hard drive? Maybe some kind of wallet 101 course would set me straight right? Kind of rambling on here sorry...

Anyways what should I do to update to 1.4? Do I need to completely uninstall my last wallet?

Hi. I updated from 1.3 version to 1.4 version just by extracting directly to same folder by overwriting files. It worked just fine. I didn't have to do anything else.

Best you make backup of your wallet.dat file and remove all other .dat files / database folder from the %appdata%\Bitstar folder (usually:  C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Bitstar )
Download the fast sync package and extract in the %appdata%\Bitstar folder.
You then have an updated ( couple days / a week old ) chain with new blkindex format.

Just make sure you always have a backup copy of your wallet.dat

Then you can run the new 1.4 wallet.

Quote
To all users getting "error loading blkindex.dat " message when updating to 1.4 wallet ... you missed the 1.3 update ;-)
Since 1.3 the blkindex.dat format has changed for faster wallet loading. Use the fast sync package to download most of the chain..
