can we withdraw superBITS from NXT AE to our wallets? Is there a superBITS MGW server operational?
and if not, is there an ETA on that?

Yes, use the Supernet Client (also available in wallet), then you just use "send" and send to your wallet address (or anywhere else you want to send to)

Is the feature available only in the Bitstar-SuperNET enabled wallet?

Anyway, i seem to have this tx stuck for a few days. Could you take a look at it? https://nxtblocks.info/#section/txid/17541648885334838494I used the 1.4 bistar wallet, not sure if that helps. I posted about it in the MGW support thread over at nxtforums, but i don't know if the superBITS cluster is maintained by the guys there. EDIT: Please disregard this, the coins are there, it was a blockexplorer issue.

Trying to update to 1.4 here and whenever I download the .rar file the wallet wont run without the qtnetwork4.dll so I tried extracting all the .dll files into a folder with the wallet and it gives me the blkindex error.......
I had version 1.2 on my computer with some coins in it before I started trying to download the 1.4 and I aside from bitstar I am always paranoid that I'm going to lose my coins somehow when I update to a new version of any cryptocurrency wallet. Could someone maybe give me a scenario where I would accidentally do that? Do the wallet.dats always stay on my hard drive? Maybe some kind of wallet 101 course would set me straight right? Kind of rambling on here sorry...
Anyways what should I do to update to 1.4? Do I need to completely uninstall my last wallet?
Best you make backup of your wallet.dat file and remove all other .dat files / database folder from the %appdata%\Bitstar folder (usually: C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Bitstar ) Download the fast sync package and extract in the %appdata%\Bitstar folder. You then have an updated ( couple days / a week old ) chain with new blkindex format. Just make sure you always have a backup copy of your wallet.dat Then you can run the new 1.4 wallet. To all users getting "error loading blkindex.dat " message when updating to 1.4 wallet ... you missed the 1.3 update ;-) Since 1.3 the blkindex.dat format has changed for faster wallet loading. Use the fast sync package to download most of the chain.. Well it's really weird, I don't even have a %appdata%\Bitstar folder. I'm trying to download on a separate computer (on windows)..even if I extract the wallet and all the .dll files to a folder and then extract the bootstrap to the same folder I still get an error....lol I don't know whats up with it but Ill figure it out eventually. One question though, you mentioned I should delete ALL OTHER .dat files while backing up my wallet.dat. Speaking in general about wallet backup is it a bad idea to keep .dat files from seperate coins in the same folder. for example wallet.dat for bitstar and a wallet.dat for vericoin in the same folder.

You won't be able to keep to files of the same name in the same folder, what I do is search wallet.dat in %appdata% then select the results and rar them, making sure to tell it to keep full paths, make a hardened rar file and password encrypted.

So now I keep getting an error 22 while trying to load my wallet, if I delete everything in my appdata\roaming\bitstar folder and load the wallet it will start but I have to load the whole blockchain. The bootstrap isn't working for some reason, when I delete the bldindex.dat and blk0001.dat and replace with the bootstrap it gives me: can't open database file blkindex.dat, error 22....

I downloaded the new wallet and had to re-download the block chain. arr Two weeks later and the blockchain is still only 79% downloaded and my balance is showing zero although past transactions are getting confirmed. Now I do the repairwallet and now out of nowhere I'm staking but my wallet is not caught up yet? I've never seen that happen before. I'm only 79% downloaded but new staking transactions are coming through. Is that normal?

Is that normal? you need to lock the wallet or set reserve balance high, if it trys to sync before the blockchain downloads they will all be orphans so you then have to repair the wallet to get them back. it also slows syncing massively.

My wallet stopped working. I deleted everything except wallet.dat and re-installed from the website and still it is giving me the same error message. I can't even open the wallet now. I don't think I did anything different from normal. I'm getting the following in the debug file.
Bitstar version v1.4.0.0-adgr-fs (2014/07/18) Using OpenSSL version OpenSSL 1.0.2 22 Jan 2015 Startup time: 06/06/15 18:03:32 Default data directory C:\Users\owner\AppData\Roaming\Bitstar Used data directory C:\Users\owner\AppData\Roaming\Bitstar dbenv.open LogDir=C:\Users\owner\AppData\Roaming\Bitstar\database ErrorFile=C:\Users\owner\AppData\Roaming\Bitstar\db.log Unable to bind to 0.0.0.0:62123 on this computer (bind returned error 10013, Unknown error)

I'd like to put out a call for any BITS whales who would be interested in selling some of their holdings for fiat.
Ideally they would be located in the EU but if in the US there would need to be sufficient Due Diligence and KYC to satisfy the strict AML rules.
Please pm me if you are interested, with the details of what you have to offer and for what amount.

This is a local pc problem, that error is either when another program is using that port or more likely another copy of bitstar is still running in the background, easiest none-techy fix is to restart your pc.

Well we're looking to make deals for upwards of 100k at a time.
So if you have at least that amount for sale and can propose a reasonable price then pm me the details.
We are open to those who'd prefer settlement in BTC but fiat is preferred.
