Ok things should be correcting themselves, the dev said that some nodes had gone down but they've been relocated so Poloniex should be able to sync up now.

Last update I got from Poloniex yesterday was "the development team is aware and working on this."

I really hope they get this sorted soon.

BITS is the only coin on Poloniex that has its market frozen. Not good. Sad
Dev, have you contacted Poloniex directly also? If not, could you?
We really should do everything to ensure BITS stays on Poloniex...
So if they are having issues with the wallet, it would be best if dev gets involved.

I sent them a link to the fast-start download the other day. They replied today to let me know they were passing it to the relevant person so hopefully their wallet will be back online for trading shortly.

Yeah. I passed on the faststart pack link via the dev's post here also to polo support few days ago.

Bittrex is also having sync issues now with their wallet:
"The last block update occurred 675 minutes ago."

This is a big issue as BITS wallet is no longer working on both Polniex & Bittrex. Angry
Last thing I want is for them to give up on BITS and delisting it due to wallet issues.

Edit: I've transferred 10 BITS to Bittrex as a test.
NOT showing up in Bittrex. (but has 32 confirms in block explorer)

Edit 2: My test deposit just showed up! (2 hours later)
Bittrex wallet now says " The last block update occurred 65 minutes ago."
So seems the sync is slow at times but working which is good to know. Smiley

I've just had confirmation from Poloniex that they have successfully synced up now and the market is back open again.

Is there still a problem with Bittrex?

That's great. I see that trading is back on poloniex at least.
But BITS that I deposited over 2 weeks ago are still missing.
Hopefully they can track it down and fix my account balance. (Edit: My deposit finally showed up!)

As for Bittrex, it's working. My bigger deposit I tried last night came through also.

Just a reminder that if you are interested in BITS you should have the wallet running as often as possible (24/7 if you have a machine that's always on). That's what makes the network run for PoS coins.

Thanks to BITS being on Polo, and with rallying alts, its trading volume has never been higher for the past year or more.

If dev can put some more time/love into this coin again, BITS could get some serious trade volume / liquidity on Polo.
Hopefully dev has something planned for this coin SOON as getting into Poloniex is like winning a lotto these days.

Meanwhile, I am staking & trading BITS as I have been doing for past 2 years.
Being on board BITS & BATL requires a lot of patience that's for sure... Tongue

And oc let's not forget SuperNET, to whose pace of development BITS (at least) is tied.

Someone is clearly buying a lot of BITS on polo. Hmm.

I'm now vested elsewhere but will still keep an eye on this one. (like I have done for past 2 years)

Hi, I have found my wallet that I had since 2 years ago, a wallet.dat file, I would like to download the client and sync it to stake some coins but im too paranoid to downloaded to .exe from mediafire website.

How do I compile the source code in windows?

You're not so paranoid if you still use windows... ;-)

is there a Rpi image available? Rpi costs a fraction of what the comp tower is costs to run.

I like this project and I would run a Rpi 24/7.
