May be only a small support again but price can eventually touch near 0.012 to 0.01 level within next weeks if no any good news comes out. Better to place buy orders for cheap XMR near 0.012 level.

I think it is a good idea to take profits now in the case of a price increase. I do think holding xmr will be beneficial long term with the current prices, becoming an xmr bagholder isn't that bad, selling at loss is stupid(did that mistake once, costed me 50$).

I think monero really needs an electrum style wallet before it gets mass DNM adoption. No one wants to download an 8gb blockchain over tor. Most vendors probably couldn't figure out how to do that even if they wanted to. And I bet they're all to paranoid to download and use it otherwise.

For the ecosystem of XMR the adoption of AB was very important and good.
But people dont use it cause of the lack of a GUI.
Ok that is not the whole truth! The GUI is actually more like a candy.

Something like Electrum would be the killer feature for XMR! That is what is needed atm.
I dont know if its possible with the technique behind Monero Blockchain?

Moreover if you are in with a lot of dollars in Monero, put more energy in making advertis. somewhere

I'm kinda sad that my "bug" short position runs well cause i think this price region is really not good for the coin.

The futures market price is now close to parity with XMR and they are miles ahead interms of online hype and marketing.

Is there already some way to "pre buy" Zcash and/or some price per coin is already known? 

AND do you mean here that it's gonna start out around ten bucks, srsly?  I can't hardly believe that could be true, but really?  WTF?

if you want an anonymous coin that's owned by a bunch of corporate suits and is probably not that anonymous to US federal agencies, then I'd say zcash is a serious threat. 

I agree totally and personally won't use anything like this BUT y'know there's no telling what the idiot masses out there will think. 

I'm still amazed on a daily basis that DASH has the price per coin that it has, compared to XMR.  And YES even though I prefer XMR I do own a little DASH just as a hedge, so I'm planning to probably do the same with Zcash too (just buy a little in case it takes off despite XMR being the vastly superior technology...)

My prediction is that zcash price will initially dump (as do most super-hyped cryptos out of the gate).

My strategy would be to wait for the dump, buy your stash, then when the inevitable pump comes sell the profits for XMR.

As for XMR, I believe the market will continue to do what everyone thinks it won't.

That looks like 250MB not 250KB

I'm in the US so I only have 20GB and with a HDD not a SSD downloaded from scratch in under 12hrs.  I hear with SSD is ~2hrs

If MoneroMarket has any decent sellers, we should see a few more people buying Monero and the price will stabilize or go back up a bit.

Unless some other coin can keep you totally anonymous and starts being accepted by darknet markets,
I feel like Monero is the future of buying illegal goods on the internet.
That might not be a great thing for its reputation, but it should bring more users and a rise in price.

True. Good thing I bought most of my coins at like under 2 USD prior to the hype. This will rebound and so many people with losses will come back to hate on this coin I'm sure... Emotional traders losing money. Sad, but true.

Long term price will rebound but it is likely you will see .01 first. When there was good news and excitement about Monero why did the developers not take advantage of momentum and make releasing an official GUI wallet the top priority?

is funny to see people talking like that were a bad thing... dark net market made bitcoin what it is today. feels like jealous of xmr..... of course nobody want to be known as a illegal thing but ANY anon coin would want to be accepted in dnm...

and if the question is the illegal stuff being bought, well, it isnt xmr problem... people buy drugs using USD too, BTC too, the problem isnt the currency.

about the downtrend, correction is a b*tch. it will happen to every coin.
