I am not sure what is your definition by being rich but I think 240 XMR is just fine.
Basically if everything goes as planned, the price of Monero should be significiantly higher than the price of bitcoin is today. It really is possible we see 10 000 usd price for XMR.
For bitcoin I am not so sure.

Obviously I am a bagholder and I preach what I do personally.
Linux storage is just fine IMO, much better than holding in exchange where you can easily dump your coins to NRG.
I will settle for at least 500XMR but i would prefer to have over 2000XMR which is too expensive for me now. I guess i will have to hold now and accept what happens, even buying more slowly. Since i suck at trading i guess it's smarter for me to hold. You are not really a true bagholder, a true bagholder is someone who bought a shitcoin like quark during the peak, xmr is a fine coin and will remain that way even without being supported on DNM.

I dont talk there. Buy anyway he said no one is using XMR at AlphaBay so I guess he doesnt care anyway

And he was wrong about XMR, so it's a little hard to take his comment seriously.

Good luck with your next short, be interesting to see how it works out for you.

So what I was worried about AB seems not to be so spectulative....

And some verndors are also complaining:

Quote
Waiting for my coin since 5 days. Support not answering.

Quote
Also have about 400 BTC what apeared send but i havent received anything !!!
Please AlphaBay dont follow Oasis...fck 400 BTC Sad

Not sure what these have to do with XMR....

Cause the rise of XMR began with the announcemen of Alphabay acceptance.
After Oasis did exit scam the price drops.
When now AlphaBay is doing the same, im afraid XMR will also drop like hell. That fucks me up so much with these darknet markets.

Is AB down?  What are the chances that two DM pull an exit scam at the same time?  Slim I would think.

Dude, cold storage cold storage and once again: golden cold storage.
If you want to become rich, the only way is to ignore NRG and store your coins outside of exchange and come back after 5 years.
I will not be rich with only 240 XMR, i need at least 5x that to make any substantial amount, my only chance of becoming rich is to sell and rebuy a lot cheaper. I think i will do nothing now, the price can go both ways.

Sell now. I agree to the people here who say it will still fall for while. Today was just a short recovery for the mass drop. Moreover it was like hype buying again which is already stopped.

When you sell now (or go short) and you can buy back at 115 you have more coins. When it drops to 85 you still have more coins than you have now without selling.
When it rises again above 115 you are already in the green zone. But Bagholding can be also good. But i prefer to make more of something Wink

Btw. I follow this guy https://www.tradingview.com/chart/XMRBTC/1RaAMKMF-Monero-XMR-flush-toilet-time/. He was exactly right with everything. Nearly touchdown with 115. Next ist 101 and than below 100.

Okay NRG, if you say so that the price goes down, then short it.
Based on your last writing you obviously still have open short position.

I am ready for your increase in short - I have still 4 bids waiting to be filled. I promise you I will not withdraw those orders even if the price approaches them.  Wink Those orders are legitimate.
And I can put even more bids if you need more liquidity.  Cheesy

Well the truth is, you are just concerned about your short.. lol

I closed my short already at 115 with ~20.000$+
But I go in with a new short for sure at 140 or 150 Smiley

Keep me updated when you open the short position.
Current price of Monero is such a small that this can be achieved even without DNM.

Somehow you always say "i have some more bids open" when the price is falling. I see that as a good sign that 0.0101 is reached soon

I do not go all in with one shot. I am not stupid.
I still have a nice stash of bitcoins outside of exchange and I am willing to put even more bids with higher amounts if you need some liquidity with your short positions.
My timeline is years and years ahead.
Today even 1 of my bids were touched so please to hard so that I can get some of the coins you borrow, well, from me.  Grin

I think you are more here complaining because nobody wants to dump into your shorts.
We are here warning the newbies not to sell to you cheap those coins they bought higher in hope of 70 usd/xmr.
People need more long term focus and if they are not 100 % certain they are able to make more money than lose they should not gamble.

The fact is, Monero is now so cheap this price is sustainable even without Darknet markets. Sure Monero was cheaper in a few months ago - but it was more or less the same for 2 years despite the emission is cut significiantly.
I think you are ignoring here the fact that Monero is fundamentally the best and has the merit of being more expensive than today.

I have to be honest i am really terrified right now, i have a feeling that the price will fall below 0.01, i had the same feeling before the last crash(sold half then). If i had my xmr on poloniex i would have sold, that's for sure. I actually regret not having my xmr on poloniex now, i would have sold at 0.0137 in that case.

Than you actually have a quit good feeling. I would not recommend to a newbie to use marging trades, especially not when you are a low money. But maybe use half of your coins (or even less) to trust your feeling and deal with long/shorts.

price still moving and trades are unstable i think it is a good fortune to position buy order just needed to have good timing opportunity comes and if this downfall will continue those who are trusting this project would benefits in the long run the more you hold the more chances that the price will bounce back and weak holders will cry when price will rises up again.

I think you are ignoring here the fact that Monero is fundamentally the best and has the merit of being more expensive than today.

No you just dont get that we actually are not that far from each other than you think. I also believed in the future of XMR and still do. But now things changed.

Oasis exit scam (yes i know you disowned this)
AlphaBay looks suspicious cause they dont cash out
No other big market announced to use XMR

These are negative points. When i sum up than the negative feedback of vendors/users at the DNM i easily come to the point that at the moment the price will not reach 70$.
So i cannot tell a newbie "ya keep your coins thats good" when i dont believe so.
You say: Keep it.
I say: sell and buy later more coins for less money.

If you are right and the price is at 70$ somewhen, he has more advance with my tipp, hasnt he?

If someone doesnt care for that all, buy, put into your wallet, live your life and than see what happend 2 years later.

If I would act like bagholders, i would have now lost ~40% of my money. Now i have even more money and can buy hopefully cheap at 0.0085. Easy thing.

take it easy guys, all your stashes are enormous Cheesy

up or down? who knows, shorting here seems risky and i would only recommend the greedy and risk averse to try.
im personally trading a lot lately, the liq is pretty nice. ofc i can not just buy, i need to sell too. but i would never part from my core long term position, way too risky.

remember when discussing, people have different timeframes. also positions have different size, what is a good idea with 5k coins might be a very bad idea to do with 50k coins.

haha this is so true, it's why many are silently watching and probably chuckling at these games.

N-rG posts/activity ratio is way off so it is just an alt account of someone who is regular here anyways. Nearing 50 posts now in last 5 pages and deserves the dump from noobs I suppose. Working extra hard and extra hours round the clock.

I wouldn't be so sure. Every bear who has posted here relentlessly during different periods of time last 2 years has got the price they wanted.
