The fact is, Monero is now so cheap this price is sustainable even without Darknet markets. Sure Monero was cheaper in a few months ago - but it was more or less the same for 2 years despite the emission is cut significiantly.
I think you are ignoring here the fact that Monero is fundamentally the best and has the merit of being more expensive than today.

No you just dont get that we actually are not that far from each other than you think. I also believed in the future of XMR and still do. But now things changed.

Oasis exit scam (yes i know you disowned this)
AlphaBay looks suspicious cause they dont cash out
No other big market announced to use XMR

These are negative points. When i sum up than the negative feedback of vendors/users at the DNM i easily come to the point that at the moment the price will not reach 70$.
So i cannot tell a newbie "ya keep your coins thats good" when i dont believe so.
You say: Keep it.
I say: sell and buy later more coins for less money.

If you are right and the price is at 70$ somewhen, he has more advance with my tipp, hasnt he?

If someone doesnt care for that all, buy, put into your wallet, live your life and than see what happend 2 years later.

If I would act like bagholders, i would have now lost ~40% of my money. Now i have even more money and can buy hopefully cheap at 0.0085. Easy thing.

take it easy guys, all your stashes are enormous Cheesy

up or down? who knows, shorting here seems risky and i would only recommend the greedy and risk averse to try.
im personally trading a lot lately, the liq is pretty nice. ofc i can not just buy, i need to sell too. but i would never part from my core long term position, way too risky.

remember when discussing, people have different timeframes. also positions have different size, what is a good idea with 5k coins might be a very bad idea to do with 50k coins.

haha this is so true, it's why many are silently watching and probably chuckling at these games.

N-rG posts/activity ratio is way off so it is just an alt account of someone who is regular here anyways. Nearing 50 posts now in last 5 pages and deserves the dump from noobs I suppose. Working extra hard and extra hours round the clock.

I wouldn't be so sure. Every bear who has posted here relentlessly during different periods of time last 2 years has got the price they wanted.

eventually the market will weed out these people
its akin to people who wanted btc at 50 when it rose to 100  or wanted 200 again when it went 400

i dont think monero price  will half again ,every once in a awhile the train pulls away from the station and leaves some people behind Wink

I have to be honest i am really terrified right now, i have a feeling that the price will fall below 0.01, i had the same feeling before the last crash(sold half then). If i had my xmr on poloniex i would have sold, that's for sure. I actually regret not having my xmr on poloniex now, i would have sold at 0.0137 in that case.

Terrified seems to be an excessive reaction.  I acknowledge my weak trading skills and have limited time to use them. During my 2+ years buying and holding the price has hit 0.001 twice.  Please note the zeros.  This obviously put me underwater.  My reaction was "oh well I guess I'll be holding for a while longer".  There is a possibility that all goes to zero but obviously I believe in Monero, what it is, what it has become and what it will become.  This belief has been continually strengthened by the actions of both the devs and the community.

I don't know what your situation or temperament is and I am just giving you my perspective.  I am in no way trying to influence others for personal gain.  There is both good and bad advice here and at least for me it took a bit of time to figure out what was what.  Hopfully you will find what works for you.  Sometimes the good perspectives are only shared in response to the bad so I would like to thank everybody Smiley

Placed a 0.0134, 0.0133 stop-limit, settled for a compromise. XMR looks bullish now but i do not trust these indications, often everything will look fine before a crash. I am starting to feel a bit uncertain now about the crash, i do view these darknet-markets as suspicious, i am sure they added xmr to pump the price after buying up a lot, they might short xmr after it increases again and make even more money.

I lacks discipline needed to be a good trader, i often buy too high(started to buy at 0.015 but luckily sold at loss after it went down 1%).

Edit: sold now, maybe it was a mistake(removed the stop-limit but still sold during a drop). Transfered another 100XMR to sell in the case the price increases to above 0.014, i know i might miss out on a potential rise but the amount of money i can make from that is simply to small now, i will simply have to gamble that the price falls a lot so i can rebuy.

The price is back up to 0.01357 now, and is up 11% today. What I sometimes do in volatile conditions (usually on pump and dump coins on yobit) is make sure I break even, or almost break even, sell the original buy price then trade on the profits - its not so stressful that way. Maybe its something you could do to make the trading experience more palatable - profits will be less of course - but the risk would be mitigated.

And there are plenty more, just look yourself.

Viewkey gives an optional publicity for confirmation of transactions.

Actually the relevant feature is not the view key but the tx-key (sometimes called the per-transaction view key). Bitsquare.io uses it in case of disputes. It allows the sender to prove payment on the blockchain beyond any doubt.

Ya i think it should be the obligation of the DNM itself when it offers a new payment method to also give a FAQ about how to that things in case of disputes.

BTW, I thought you "Gave up checking the price and would be back in a few months"? You sure change your mind a lot. I don't think you have been involved with XMR that long, but that's not my business either, just a guess. Cheers.

So many newbie accounts come on here posting like crazy "up", "down"...etc then disappear soon thereafter.

Playing these intraday/intraweek price moves is too much work.

Would prefer to read this thread and be entertained by others hopping up and down trying to get a market reaction to their post, FUD, links, etc.

Buy orders creeping up again finally.  0.012 effectively defended (my buy at 0.0116x filled but close enough for crypto  Wink )  range driver still correct in my view.  That would mean bouncing into the .018 range is probable.  Dropping to .01 or below would throw the scenario out the window, but so far good enough...

I quote you: "Only due to that, XMR is at least 6 times below its potencial. So price should go to 70$ in the next 6 Month.", it seems to me that you are just trying to manipulate the market via FUD and HYPE talk, please go somewhere else, really great advice I have heard from you not.
