Ripple is 100% premined centralized and 100% manipulated coin so take that for what it's worth.

It also has the dubious distinction of being the subject of successful enforcement action by FinCEN in the United States. https://www.fincen.gov/news/news-releases/fincen-fines-ripple-labs-inc-first-civil-enforcement-action-against-virtual The fact that it is 100% premined and centralized was critical to this enforcement action.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

..but the price has still beaten everything else and made a lot of ppl very rich.

Either that means the centralisation, enforcement action, premine, manipulation etc have been good for price, or cryptos have still not entered the real world.

Sure it makes a few people rich, but that doesn't matter if you think about the tens of thousands of people that will end up being bagholders soon. I don't know when this will be. Tomorrow, next week or next year. But not everyone will be able to cash out at the top so the "good for price" you speak of, I doubt it will maintain that price.

I am buying now.  $25 is the new cheap.  Any luck and it might drop to 24.

DaFuq is goin' on today...?

Bitcoin Dominance Index just touched 51% and appears about to drop below half pretty soon, so the Altcoin Madness apparently is continuing?

We should call it Ripple madness.

LOL, yeah... and I know how to make it stop: I'll just buy some Ripple now!

If I did that, as soon as I click the buy button it'd be guaranteed to DROP like a STONE...  Cheesy

+1 Got to love that theory

I wait for it to fall a little bit more down to the lower support trend line or somewhere there and then pull the trigger and go in full with all ETH profit. Cheesy

Can`t await this big breakout to come, it could overlap with nice news: https://www.tradingview.com/chart/XMRBTC/rruEuYX5-LONG-XMR-THE-ANON-KING/

I've picked a few up, but down to my last dry powder now - I have left it at 01399 just in case.

However, 0142 may be the bottom... it doesn't seem to want to go lower.  Let's see.

EDIT:  of course it all depends if the buy side strengthens.

Come on Monero, get up!

It (XMR) was referred to as a sad news story in whalepool yesterday.

Btc super unusable but still growing,  nobody-known and full centralized ripple goes supersonic, old bytecoin with 100 times less supporters than Monero 200% increase ....  what else?   Should I expect to turn into wolverine tonight???  Can someone pls explain to me the f.ucking logic in the markets last months?  I will be content with not the whole logic but even any logic. Thanks.

The logic is: XMR is underrated and you have an underrated asset in your possession. I would say it is a better choice then to have an overrated asset (BTC, Ripple etc.)

Lots of Monero on offer, just not at prices low enough to motivate aggressive buying.    I don't know of any likely catalysts forthcoming. My guess is that the dollar price will be stagnant for a while.  Currency use should keep a light but steady bid in the market.

The three things that strike me as most likely to move this market:  Rotation out of the scam coins that have dominated the top of the cap charts lately, new size buyers from outside crypto, and some sort of confidence attack.  The more likely scenario is slow organic growth during the summer, with much less drama, and only gradual price appreciation.  In that scenario I would target $30 in September, and we might not see a new ATH until macro instability later in the year stomps on the fuel pedal again.

Since my FOMO levels are quite low, most of my orders are placed low-ish, in hope of the occasional speculator dump during the slow period.

As an investor, unfortunately i totally give up investing on XMR anymore. It is such a nice project and very undervalued imo. But something is wrong maybe advertisements or maybe some internal issues i dont know. But the price is not growing for really long. When many shit projects already multiplied their volume and price, monero is still like a turtle.

Well, lets see here; Bytecoin is already correcting, Bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency, and Ripple is probably just going through another "random" pump to increase the dev’s net worth.

I'm starting a technology blog T4CH.top, check it out!

You mean the official Bytecoin (BTE) being a 1:1 clone of Bitcoin?

BTC crashing back down could cause a bloodbath here in alts.

We aren't holding up as well as we were now.

I think we will get great opportunity to convert some BTC profits into XMR over the next few months. Bloodbath in XMR means apocalypse for the other shitcoins, imo.
