The more Bitcoin grows the more almost delusional these predictions in the range of 0.05-7 are.
What does Bitcoin's USD price have to do with XMR's BTC price? Are you saying you can't imagine XMR having that high of a USD value?

Supply of coins on Polo is roughly matching the buy side. This is not normal for XMR, coins for sale are much fewer than normal. Just sayin. Maybe some people are trying to keep the lead on the price, it looks very flat. I don't think this can last if sell side / buy side ratio stays like this.
It is same with all coins. Less BTC then few weeks ago. People are pulling btc from exchanges t their wallets. What is different with Monero is that is maybe 10-15 XMR more on sale as was in last 2 weeks.

It looks like monero lost competition with bitcoin uptrend again I'm all bitcoin now, would be stupid not to be, will buy back after I've dumped the bitcoin forks, hopefully before it recovers. Ok, I will buying the opposite your decision, I'm all altcoin now, especially 90% is Monero in my balance . Ignore small profits from Bitcoin Gold and go to buy altcoin at bottom price, I do not think this is a stupid decision .

A revisit of one of iCEBREAKER's memorable posts. Only a year and a half ago? <snip>
At this point, with the GUI, multisig, and RingCT coming Sooon here, there is no excuse to be holding bags of shitty fake-anon coins like Dash (especially after Professor Shen's spectacular destruction of Shadowcash).
Monero is under a hundred dollar. What the fuck are you waiting for? Christmas?

What an unrealistic group of ppl beyond imagination... Nomore is not developing. It is bad coin for scammers like browser miners. 1 year of small moves and you belive in something. Price under 0.0147 and still hodlers belive... It is the end of bubble. It is btc last pump. It is alts demise start for longer period. Only faith holds the price. Such small buy volume of 300 btc never happened at polo. Rsi total oversold an it doesnot want to bounce. Lol nomore.

You know this doesn't actually work right. Your short may pan out but it wont be because of your actions in this thread. You are having 0 impact on the price.

Biggest mistake this year hodling monero think im gonna cut my holdings extremly on next rebounce. Monero ist going parabolic, but unfortunatly in the wrong direction. Our crypto market share growth is 0 or negative, since one year now and im not going to invest even a single Satoshi in this anymore. Monero sure will be >1k$ some day, but only with Bitcoin >50k and then its not worth to hold from an investment pov.

Our crypto market share growth is 0 or negative, since one year now and im not going to invest even a single Satoshi in this anymore. bitcoin fork shenanigans are focus of attention. once that passes people are likely to take profits (if there are any to take) or abandon ship and move into other assets like monero, ltc, eth you name it. it looks rough at the moment but xmr holds the $-value pretty well. i wouldbt be worried if you are just holding im only worried because of auto liquidation on margin

Which exchange do you use to go short Monero?
|
You can't win if you don't play. But you can't play if you lose all your chips. First I found bitcoin (BTC). Then I found something better, Monero (XMR). See GetMonero.org

Wow, maybe it's just me (and I'm not a "trader" at all, just a simple hodler so don't take it as any real advice here) but this latest BTC run just seems SO much "too much too soon too fast" ... doesn't it?
A little birdie told me this'll peak out at around $6800-ish and then after the manic stooopid "free coinz it's forkin' Yo!" nonsense subsides, and the reality hangover sets in, we'll see yet another "crash" all the way back "down" to "only" about $4800 or so.
A "crash" to where it's still 5x on the starting point of the year, in other words. LOL.
As a hodler, I'll take that, just fine... thank you very much.
Anyway maybe worth a little side-play here to increase XMR stack a bit. Just feels SO much MORE obvious this time around, for some reason?? Hmmm...

Ive been catching falling XMR knives all the way down. I've gotten pretty bloody. :/ I am to the point now that I actually feel TOO heavy XMR and too light BTC. XMR is cheap against BTC now though. I am just exhausted by all the action currently.
