The demand of anynomous and privacy coins are high now. Dash and Monero are going up in value at the same time. Both coins got a very strong belief among the community members.

Anyone who uses dash for privacy is either ignorant or stupid. This is only proof that most speculators won't research beyond the announcement page and are more than happy to play fool in a game of greater fool. Sooner or later there will be a reckoning REKToning and the market will wise up faster than dashtards can pile their bs.

Fix'd....

Dash is already in a failure mode because its PoW incentives are being cannibalized by overpaid Masternode PoS and the scam-funding so-called Dev Fund.

https://medium.com/@aquilesgomez/highlighting-mining-difficulty-scalability-issues-with-x11-algorithm-on-the-dash-network-f48533a5e6fe

tl;dr BITMAIN #REKT DASH -- thanks to Dash's shitty homespun X11 algo it takes 400% more $$$ to produce the same amount of PoW security as Bitcoin's SHA2

We need smooth and amino to figure out if this problem applies to all PoW/PoS hybrids, or it depends on specific stake vs work vs devfund weights/threshholds. Grin

Let's hope this Inverse Marginal Security Profitability Crisis kills the Dash scam but leaves our good friends at Decred alone!  Cool

Still no globee, multisig, trezor, or ledger.  Therefore, bigger gains to come.  Same old same old.  I think we are gaining from Asian pump rotation, but also from rebalance of BTC/BCH gains. Whatever caused that Google trends spike on "monero" I would like more of it!

Heh... okay, thanks.  Actually I kinda wasn't really "away" (too hard to really tear oneself away from all the crypto-world drama, amirite?) but FWIW it was helpful to kinda step back a bit. From time to time we probably all need to do that.

And, still, I dunno what it is exactly... BUT... I yet feel for some reason -- right now -- the crypto-world is on the edge of some kind of turning-point, split from past to future or.... something.

Maybe it's the blocksize debate final resolution, bigblock smallblock BCH BTC who-wins who-loses something something goin' on here -OR- maybe it's Monero about to srsly break-out (from Globee exposure?) something or who da funk knows, but something's in the air for sure IMHO.

LOL actually last week I had a dream that DogeCoin forked to a new version that somehow incorporated RingCT from Monero, and instantly rocketed to the Top 5 coins market-cap position.  When I woke up I had to go check it on my computer to be sure it wasn't actually true, LOL

Something totally bizarre like that coming at us straight outta left field would not surprise me a bit  Cheesy

Deleted off topic spam

Bitcoin costs will continue to rise as bitcoin need rises .. everyone else purchases these cash while the amount of bitcoins in the world stays. It'll make the bitcoin will continue to rise. In addition the need for doing bitcoin is now widely carried out. A lot of companies decide to spend with bitcoins.
For fuck sakes, can someone do something about these bots?  This forum is infested.

Monero is okay and used monstly for under the counter transactions, it's quite safe but I'm wondering how it keeps that position, as the most valued pivacy centric coin. It's great but there are other alternatives out there that are so much better, so start with ,we have Zcash which uses a more advanced protocol than Monero. Zcash protocol will be implememnted in many big networks, including private one's from banks and financial institutions, this can already give you an idea about the level of innovation we are talking about. If a company decides to implement a solution it's probably because they can't implement it themselves difrectly. Zcash did exactly that and everyone is now interested in implementing their protocol, that should be rewarded in my opinion.

Hmm idk, at times it's been more of a Dash thread than Monero.

Even more recent times it's been more of a Tether thread.

It will not be because no one sane would trust trusted setup if they can just use Monero where they dont need to trust anyone but the math.    Right now no one use it because their anon transactions takes way to much resources. And since no one uses anon transactions, that makes those few anon transactions not really anon.

OK, since we reach ATH.  I was thinking I guess new event should be $200.   Seems sure thing with whole Crypto still getting more popularity.  So when exactly will Monero reach $200?

TFW Monero reaches ATH after ATH and you cannot take any profits because you consider everything else as a terrible form of money, but then you remember it's Monero so you happily keep on holding ...
