XMR hits USD 100 and nobody saying anything?! Come on people
+1 4u but... We are back to valuing in BTC.  Not sure about you, but I buy my lambos with dollars. Joking aside, isn't it a bit ironic how many of us here (not everyone) believe XMR to be superior to BTC, yet use BTC to measure XMR's value? Not that USD is necessarily better, but it makes the most sense as a "real world" equivalent value comparison. Well didn't we peak around 500$ or was that a dream? |

The thing about Monero is... it is one of the only coins that actually does something bitcoin doesn't.
At least something big and fundamental. Everything is obscured on layer one, AND cryptographically verifiable. That is worth a little something. Sometimes 01x... sometimes .03. Eventually something like .1
OMG this, this a thousand times THIS. This is the one thing I've SAID to a million people (seems like) over the last 4-5 years that's really ALL that matters. Hard to see the forest for the trees but, man, THIS is "forest" absolutely. Keep in mind, everyone. Especially noobs here reading. This is what matters. |

I am waiting for a $1000 coin to buy gold with 10% of it. Considering that we generally have no ideas what will happen with price, I am wondering how long I will have to wait. What if $1000 will happen this year. I need to slowly start making place where to put my golds.

Additionally, the market capitalization, as well as the trading volume, is rapidly growing. Another noteworthy fact is, for any coin to survive in the utmost volatile crypto space, strong fundamentals and a dedicated community is required and that where Monero excels. |

Monero is on High fly and is Aimed to Set a New All-Time High for 2019Article is pretty funny in that it's titled about xmr making aths in 2019 then finishes saying that it's predicted to be only $150, so whose ever computer is even writing these things at this point is pretty bad at history. Even more entertaining is that the human name attached to the forged story, Trevor whatever, has allegedly been around since 2011. |

Monero is the number one privacy coin but it does not mean that it is immune to the whole market swings, I would love that because it is unique from other top coins , because of that it should move differently but sadly it has similar potential to its rivals in market capitalization.

I copied this from one reddit post yesterday when someone was calculation how big were transactions last month and compare them with Bitcoins. Monero transactions take ~ 5.23x more space than Bitcoin transactions If we take 20% off we get 4.2x I wonder where is limit. How close to bitcoin will we eventually get.
The thing is Bitcoin has the same sorts of advances on the horizon. I doubt Monero ever catches up. What is important is Monero KEEPS up. In 2017, Monero was one of the best runners. Suppose, this year, it will move faster. I guess Monero can reach 180 dollars for an altcoin at least. It must get its place on the top-10 cryptocurrencies list. Actually in 2016 Monero was the best runner. If 2019 is new 2015, then 2020 will be Monero 2016 over again. It is time to concentrate on monero, I think monero will move fast once again this year or on next year. I am trying to collect monero slowly, will try to collect as many as possible. |
