I have a question, what about Digital Signature, here in Bulgaria I can get one for 10-16 Euros, and I can sign electronic mails, documents etc. It is accepted by government, banks so on. This way I only have to sign a pdf or whatever and you know that it's me who is signing. No need for scanned IDs and affidavit for the pdf.

People in Spain can do this with their goverment issued id card. I think that gigavps is not taking care about his share holders outside USA :-( And I'm starting to think that I've lost my BTC again.

Well, guess what's going to happen? The next time he comes round looking funding or dealing with somebody, it ain't going to happen. As far as I can tell - he is done as a businessman. Too bad people lost money in the process.

To all Gigaminers:

I have spoken with Quentin this evening. For those who have searched the Florida Bar Association site and have not found Quentin, it is because his firm uses the senior attorney's Bar ID. Quentin will confirm everything in the morning, but I am fairly confident on the link below.

http://www.floridabar.org/names.nsf/0/6E273FF94FF8E12785256A83007AEED9?OpenDocument

As for Quentin answering emails, this will start in earnest next week. Quentin is off the next couple of days taking care of family matters. I strongly believe that family always comes first and I hope you agree.

The digital signatures others have mentioned must include a memorandum of understanding with the US for the digital signatures to be admissible in US courts. Quentin stated he would research this further, but until then, please send in the apostiled documents if you are outside the US.

Best,
James

The prob is, based on what i am seeing, he keeps the hardware and the shares are worth zip. He used this forum to the max.

Chill out.  It's easier to assume a nearly universal authentication mechanism (the apostille) for foreign participants and to handle exceptions once they're raised than to figure out everyone's jurisdiction, whether there is a legitimate alternate authentication protocol, and whether it is compatible with his jurisdiction.

Instead of whining, offer suggestions.

Yes, you're right, I'm sorry.

As I still haven't gotten any reply back from this lawyer

Hi Sukrim,

There was no point in Quentin replying until the affidavit was available for everyone. I will be speaking with him today regarding the Teramining contract and will ask when he will start replying. If you feel your patience has been worn thin, I apologize, but this is not going as fast as I would like either.

Best,
James

Hi Sukrim,

Thanks for understanding. Please know that I wouldn't have a lawyer involved just to cut and run. There are multi-stage, multi-year plans involved with Teramining and those plans include ALL Gigaminers. Nobody wants to be where we are, including me, but this is a necessary step to executing the long term vision.

Please continue to have a positive attitude and we'll work through this thing together.

Best,
James

Is the PDF file available?
Giga, would you post important updates on the OP?
It would be useful so we don't need to dig through pages of posts.

What about people that stay in countries that are not part of the Apostille convention?  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostille_convention

Today I walked into a random bank.  Asked for a notary.  Got the document notarized in about 10 minutes.  They did not charge me anything and never even asked me if I had an account at their bank.  Don't the banks elsewhere provide a similar service for free?

I still have to spring for the darn postage stamp to send it in though.

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

In the past I've tried my local Bank of America and a local credit union.  Both have a notary on the staff, but only for banking related transactions.  The credit union referred me to a local title insurance company.  They've been awesome over the years, although it is $10/document.  If you're looking for a local notary, a title insurance company is going to have one handy.

I'm not a Coinbase fan -- I placed a buy order, they took the funds out of my bank account immediately. Within a week the price had gone up 10% and on the day I was to receive my Bitcoins they canceled the buy and closed my account.

TD Bank gave me a notary for a title transfer for my car. No fee or anything, though I do bank with them... not sure if it was required though.

I have only 16 bonds of gigamining.
In India, for legal works, which has to be done by timely & correctly, we need to bribe 1000+ INR.
For illegal or other works, then maybe up to 10 times or more.

When i bought gigamining shares for 1.6 BTC/share, no one told me that i have to give all these affidavit or Apostille or notary details to get back my dividends & shares.
While all other bond/contract issuers can give back dividends with out problem, but gigamining cant do it.
Gigamining is the biggest or highly priced shares, which is the 1st one to receive assets holders data.

A simple, bigger screwup done by nefario &, we, who are the assholes, believed that by buying bonds, we will get dividends, which wont even give the ROI, gave our hard earned/mined bitcoins to strangers, who know how to become millionaires or billionaires by other people money & can live happily.

All the laws are sleeping or lost or not even their, until a day before glbse crap shutdown.
After that every thing came alive.

I have seen/read about many piracy, anti piracy things about sharing movies or music..... & law cant punish any one, until the law is made. That made many early shares escape with out any punishment or fines, except bitcoin.

Seems all laws suddenly changes or contracts breached in bitcoin world, whose is now a days run by mafia's or corporates, whose only motto is suck money as much they can, even in dead bodies.
