80095.74458759 LTCD Available    I hope it would hit 1 dollar :p

Howl long did it take for Litecoin to hit a dollar?

Does anyone actually know a rough estimate on this? Would be interesting to know..

April 1st, 2013 it hit $1 on btc-e - it took almost a year

Wouldnt that be almost two years? Oct of 2011.

thanks - I was just going by the chart and didn't bother to look when ltc actually came out.. thanks for cleaning up my mess Smiley

Thanks! Wow yea second gen is gonna smoke that time frame!

I suggest asking the retailers (Sweetwater, Guitar Center, etc) which sell the gear (Marshall, Orange, Peavey, Fender, etc) to accept cryptos instead of  asking the manufacturer.

I'm trying to discuss with my nephew's band about accepting cryptos for their  CDs, digital audios, and merch. They're already well into the top 100 on iTunes, so I'm not dealing with some nobodies here. Thing is, they're on tour and in the studio so much, it's hard to get time with them until something breaks and they need me to tech some shit.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Who is the band, if you don't mind? Out of Maryland by chance?

Yea retailers are where its at. Manufacturers won't see anywhere near the benefit of the bitcoin bump that retailers will. They aren't dealing with the point of sale that retailers are and thats where Bitcoin comes into play as a viable sales booster.

-Edit - Also curious who the band is? lol

When do rewards half again???

25.628 - 38.441 Reward: 800
38.442 - 51.255 Reward: 400
51.256 - 64.068 Reward: 200

51.256 will be the next reward halving

Is there a way to calculate how much more time will pass to get there?thnx.

~darylluke.

Yes, the ancient art of math:)

The current block time is not fully clear, but it is about 100 blocks/50 minutes (last 100 blocks) = 30 seconds

Current block height is 40710, so it will be 10546 blocks till next halving.

This is 10546 * 30 = 316380 seconds = 5273 hours = 219 days --> May 8.

Perhaps I'm wrong?

In the hour of 100 blocks, sutki- 2400 blocks on lowering 12814 blocks. Total 12814 2400 = 6 days
