Annoucement:

Time to earn some LTCD!
We are proud to annouce that it is now possible to mine LTCD on a multipool.

Point your miners at and mine whatever coin and get paid in LTCD.
After registration at CoinKing, make your workers and go to Wallets and find the coin you are planning to mine. In the Auto Convert settings in the column to the far right chose LTCD.

https://coinking.io/login.php#

Tips:

- In the worker setup page remember to setup the right Difficulty: ASICS = 1024 / GridSeed = 128 / GPU = 256-512
- In the worker setup page chose a coin or multipool in "Mining"
- In the Wallet window remember to setup Auto Convert to LTCD in the right column.

Happy Minig Everyone.

The LitecoinDark Team

First of all point those miners to Coinking and urn your ltcd! Also I agree with Troll that Xircom is our pr guy and normaly he will do the interviews. This said, he was asking a koppel of pages back the same question as me and was completely ignorned. Every team member has certain tasks/skills and with this structure ltcd future is more guaranteed. One of my jobs is to protect the coin and make sure communication goes true the right channels.

In this case Mckny was/is (doesn't mather at this point) involved with Blackcoin. Reasons enough for me to ask questions since he didn't reply on Xircom his question. Ofcourse Mckny is welcome as community member and its nothing more than great he is willing to to a interview for a article.

This said, respect the communication channels and use them the way the they mension. Also for the record I had the feeling the community has the right to know you are/was from Blackcoin. Don't take it personaly but this is my job. Next time use pm and answer questions from the team, it is the best for both.

Regards,

Litecoindark Dev

Hi.

timeoffset might be related to your time zone. that is one entry that I have no specific knowledge.
I do not use NOMP, so I can't help clear that up either.
I do notice that there is no entry in your conf file for "rpcserver=1" but that might be something you do not need due to you using NOMP. Try adding the "rpcserver=1" to your conf and see if that works. Also, try changing "rpcallowip=192.168.100.*" to "rpcallowip=127.0.0.1"

I hope those work for you.

Just an FYI, you can also use both lines at the same time instead of replacing what is already there:

rpcallowip=192.168.100.*
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

I have used this before when mining with a rig attached via LAN and one attached to my machine without issue.

It depends on the mining software used. I can't remember which ones support it and which don't. I've used several versions and many modded cgminer, sgminer, bfgminer. Sometimes you can have only ONE line for "rpcallowip" and in those instances, you can only have ONE statement (either an exact address or one range such as 192.68.10.15 or 192.168.*). For these occassions, if you use more than one, it may only read the first instance or it may just pretend to work but never solve a block.

If it doesn't work with multiple statements, try only one. Personally, I've made it a habit to use 127.0.0.1 all the time. It's easier to remember across many miners on many PCs.

And how did you guess btw? I mentioned RBE on this forum only once, and in this thread few weeks back :-)

I read it yesterday. Bunch of greedy muppets.

I was actually their first gen customer. Still remember Cole's grin on the photos and have always thought it's a deceving smile. Some reason I often tend to recognise people's fake intentions by the way they smile...

Ah, I see. I have only used both lines in instances of low difficulty coins where I was CPU mining (the 127.0.0.1 line) as well as pointing my Gridseed Blade at the wallet (the 192.168.1.* line) since the Blade runs on a raspberry pi connected directly into the router. I didn't realize the various mining software handles it differently. Good to know.

Happy to pass it along. I've got flat spots on my face from banging it on my keyboard trying to figure out things like this. I finally got to a point where every miner is connected to a PC (some PCs have 10 miners each) running under Windows in various locations. Each batch file targets the local miners and each batch file (and conf files) are almost identical from system to system. I control it all via Remote Desktop Connection from one central PC with 3 monitor setup x2 (creatively using a solid state KVM switch). Believe it or not, that was the easiest solution. Software updates still suck, though.

I didn't realize the various mining software handles it differently. Good to know.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

What makes us different from other crypto communities is that no one makes decisions here but we all arrive at decisions.

Alright Jacque  Cheesy

Fresco's my teacher and a guide ;-)

And how did you guess btw? I mentioned RBE on this forum only once, and in this thread few weeks back :-)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xa45LRPJXG0

Holy moses,

KNC announces that they stop selling miners and only focusing on them self and their datacenter.

http://asicscrypt.com/kncminer-leaves-customers-favor-mining-bitcoin-litecoin/

I read it yesterday. Bunch of greedy muppets.

I was actually their first gen customer. Still remember Cole's grin on the photos and have always thought it's a deceving smile. Some reason I often tend to recognise people's fake intentions by the way they smile...

Big Fresco fan too. I wouldn't go so far to say he is my teacher, but he is on the right track. If you like him, you'd love Buckminster Fuller. Most of Jacque Fresco's work came from him. BTW, you're not alone on wanting a RBE. Like the Euro being the next stepping stone of financial control, I feel Crypto is the next stepping stone of going backwards, freeing people a lot more until one day, slowly but surely, we can live in a RBE.

It's great to meet another person with this knowledge. I wouldn never imagine I would encounter someone here :-)
I know B. Fuller's work a bit. I wouldn't say that Fresco learnt from Fuller because they have been researching their own work at the same time. They may have influenced each other but we dont know how much. They have both gone their ways. That's not really important as ultimately there is seldom such thing as the source of some idea. You cannot know if someone somewhere hasn't already come up with certain idea. All people influence each other and learn from each other.
For me, any person which has inspired and taught me important thing is considered my teacher-guide. I don't follow any leaders, bosses or idols :-)
I consider cryptocurrency as great means from transitional point of view towards money/currency void social structure designed with principles of Natural Law/Resource-Based Economy :-)
I guess I better stop this subject as it's off topic :-)

Don't worry about it. Yeah, I think Jacque was someone who really put a lot of these ideas in action. I guess I should have said that instead. As Fresco has said before, "Man can not think nor invent". So where do you see Ltcd around the holidays?  Smiley
