If purchasing the S5 miner from "Shop", does it always take exactly 72 hours, or is that just the max amount of time it can take? Aka, sometimes does it only take 1 day?

From personal experience plan on waiting 72 hours. Sorry about that. If you do not want to wait you can always just buy S5 hash on the internal Hashnest exchange.

I have been a customer here for a few weeks. Compared to other sites, BITMAIN are (together with Bit-X) far the best. And I tried a few

in general if ur not good at investing and trading , u should prob buy pacmic. if u have some decent skills, pacmic is garbage. also its not what machine u have, its how much u got ur hashes for.

Could not have said it better myself. I have made ALOT of bitcoin on hashnest but thats only because I buy GH low and sell it high while earning mining revenue in between. I have done this with all machines from S3-S5

So PACMiC v2 is giving an annualized 13.4% return based on 10 days so far. If you play the Coinbase Exchange, you can make what they are paying in just a few trades. Both are risky. It's just an investment type.

I have done this with all machines from S3-S5 I should have rephrased my statement as is anything worth buying straight up for passive income other than trading GH. There is always money to be made, or lost trading and margins can be much higher. With that being said are you still trading hash? If so how large of buys are you working with, or are you just spending that much time going in low and out slightly higher to make small profits each time? I feel like making 14.5% on PACMiC v2 (or more if autobuy is enabled) is pretty solid to not have to do anything after purchasing the contract.

and if btc/usd goes down as you are tied up in a PACMIC contract? There is always a tradeoff....
To be liquid or get a little bit safer return? Remember PACMIC is not guaranteed ( a good deal if markets stay flat or climb, but again not a guaranteed money back )
Also with btc/usd climbing so much if you were to buy btc with fiat to purchase a PACMIC.... if btc/usd retraced just a few dollars from current levels you would still be out even with what PACMIC offers.
To be fair if btc/usd keeps going up then you will make even better initial investment returns.
For me it all comes down to bitcoin prices still swing too much where I like to be liquid.
Good luck.

I just want to say that out of all the cloud-mining sites, scams or not, you offer by far the best. And you are legit! That's something impressive. All those scam sites should turn into real miners.

It worries me that they are dropping the price of the S5 so fast all of a sudden. Makes me think the S7 is closer than we may be realizing. Its just very weird since the maintenance/payout ratio keeps going down, which should push the price of the S5 up.

They actually raised the USD$ price of the S5 last week, but then started lowering it by $2/day again. They've always said the S7 release/announcement will be in July, so it can happen as early as later this week.

May have a small regret about it once they announce, but a part of me thinks we need to be cautiously optimistic about the S7. I can see it being a slight upgrade over the S5, but not leaps and bounds. I actually hope I am wrong though!

I got it from the shop. And, like some guys told me on here when I asked that same question that it is really up to you whether you think it is worth it or not.
I personally like the PACMiC v2 contract because I didn't purchase them expecting too much. Just small interest (14% really isn't small when compared to a bank)on some bitcoin holdings. And, with bitcoin prices looking a little healthier recently I have no problem leaving the auto-buy feature enabled which prolongs my principal payback, but allows it to grow slightly more.
