Epsylon consider adding a Nexus pool... Considering there aren't any GPU ones yet, it'd be a pretty big deal. That and Zcoin is still something you should consider. Currently all the pools for Zcoin suck and/or skim. You'd instantly get most of the network hashrate.

Sounds good... Yeah, I understand Zcoin is a mess, still something that'd be worth your time if you're looking at your pool from a business perspective. Lots of hash for that coin and good markets even if the coin itself sucks.

There are problems with yiimp and the claymore's dual miner when dual mining decred.

You get a message that the pool is full when the miner re-connects after the fee has been mined.

Probably getting DDoS'd. Getting connection refused messages.

Yeah, pretty sure with the huge increase in Lbry prices all the big pools are getting hit with DDoS's to reduce network difficulty. Standard china shit.

Hi,

I have such messages from time to time, using your ccminer-1.8.4 for blake2s algo:

"GPU #1: result for 00000001 does not validate on CPU!"

it seems I'm not alone:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1810858.msg18109246#msg18109246

- but in my case that is also in 1.8.4

what is the reason of that message, and how to solve it?

Hey tpruvot

there's something wrong on yiimp with the LBC profitability. Very wrong, 1.45$/Day for a 1070.. half the amount of the other pools.

You can clearly see the issue in the 24h estimate on the right (1x) and the actual earning on the left (2x). It should be 2x.

Tested for 48 hours consecutively with  1070s. Have a look Wink

Hey trpuvot...

What's going on? There's a mess on yiimp. These days a massive decrease in hashrate on lbc, skein and decred.

Today half the profitability on skein (12x 1070..)

Edit: it seems a general thing then.

BTW if someone wants to 'fix' failover, this is another example of where it would be very useful. CCminer has never had a fully functional version of failover. It works, however, when the main pool comes back up, it wont switch over so you have to manually restart everything. Very much less then optimal.

It's pretty simple, check the mainpool, if it loses connectivity, reconnect like say 3 times, then go to the second pool, keep checking the mainpool every 2-3 minutes. If it can maintain a connection for a minute or so, move back to mainpool, if it disconnects again within a 10 minute window, sit on the secondary pool for 30 minutes.

There isn't a single ccminer with working failover.

Any word on the pool health Epsylon? Looks like it goes down a couple times a day for 2 hours a piece. It wouldn't matter so much if failover was working properly.

The pool is fine, i was watching behind my pc during yesterday first attack, which has reduced the connection efficiency for a few minutes. Target seems to be the decred pool, i also banned 2 or 3 ips from some russia university trying weird things... The second one near 17h CET made less impact on the pool shares.

Else i repaired this night the decred database which was corrupted (but working.. mehh) for some unknown reason and has rejected a few blocks yesterday, looks good now.

Decred mining is a bit different regarding the submit and validation of blocks, it was a bit harder to detect the issue which was not in the wallet logs but in their daemon (dcrwallet vs dcrd)
