Ignorance. They know nothing about it and that allows people to fill the gaps in their knowledge with whatever bias they have. It's also true that all people hear about are Islamic terrorists. Obviously the jihadists represent a very small number of Muslims.

I agree with you. This is so true. People are usually unaware and in oblivion of what is going on. Most people are prejudicial and just assume what the whole community will be like by hearing about nonsense stereotypes which is really sad . The solution to this probblem is by education and respect and appreciation of other people's principles and cultures.

Unfortunately, education in America is being hijacked by a group of rich, right winged Catholic white supremacists, who want to teach creationism in science, remove sex-ed, and make mundane claims like how the founding fathers were Christian.

Nobody has the right to set up laws for a private meeting except those who are part of the meeting. They have the right to set up the laws for their private meeting. Who else has the right to limit the laws of a private meeting and why? If others have the right, don't these have the right to limit others? Why does government have the right? Is it might makes right? It doesn't. Government works close to 100% by deception... the people don't know the law surrounding their freedom.

This meeting may have been public. If it was, things should have been somewhat different. In that case, police should have been called in to escort the ladies off stage.

Either way, if the guys who did the beatings understood the law, both the women and the government would have a very difficult time making a case.
