Getting the last 10kb is nowhere near as important as the average block size

See this page:
http://data.bitcoinity.org/bitcoin/blocksize/30d?t=l

and then click on average size to sort by it and you'll see nothing comes close to our pools...

kano set this limit of which I am sure he will change as/when necessary. Also this pool can process blocks chock-full of transactions faster than any other pool  Grin

Thank you for taking the time to explain this to me.  I have been watching this pool for a about month and seen it double in size.  In fact it was a couple of my viewers that recommended that I move over this direction.    I am pretty impressed with the overwhelming response that I received  from everyone.  Being on YouTube I get a lot of questions of where I mine, how to I get set up, etc, etc, so I will take some time over the next little while and come up with some bullet points to why this is better than one of the larger pools and why I decided to change directions.  To those of you who identified as viewers of mine, keep me honest here and tell me from your simplistic user perspective (or complex) why you guys chose this pool over others.  Like I mentioned earlier I want to put it out there to try and get some more hashing power pointed this direction just as long as there are no objections by the pool owners.

At any rate, thanks again!

I started at slush thinking size mattered more then anything. but after reading the post/thread from philipma1957 I became a kano convert. ive made double the btc here in 1/2 the time vs slush.

Welcome  Smiley you wont find a pool with better operators, clear information and updates and a great set of pool members than here.

size does matter sometimes (specifically block size)  Grin and solo ckpool and kano.is rule that domain.

EDIT: also the size of your wallet with double the BTC from this pool  Wink

Thank You Kano, this is exactly what I was looking for.  If you don't mind my referencing any part of this in the future when I put a video out on your pool that would be great.

common kano work your magic were at 21 hours and no blocks found

I finally decided to move my farm over from antpool to kano and apparently I stepped into a 23 hour test of patience.   Shocked

Ok so seriously I have pushed antpool on my youtube channel but as antpool keeps growing the logic to support the smaller pools makes more sense.  That being said we all still need to make money so if I am in, I would like to share this with my subscribers.  However, for me to use what little influence I have right now can someone maybe give me an higher level overview of how a ckpool works vs say a larger pool like antpool.  I read the thread on ckpool last night and it was a bit over my head.  I am trying to learn more of the of the inter workings.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I have been here since June, started with 30Th and now over 100Th. Tried all the other pools, done a month by month compare and Kano has always won. Now at over 20PH, variance is better but even at 1PH, Kano won over all the others. Also, given the state of BTC today, I will not and would never mine on a Chinese pool, i want BTC to flourish and not get killed of and totally controlled by China. Below is my first payment on Kano. I was here during the Hell 666.666 block and Red October and still did better then anywhere else. Not to mention the support, the forum and CK and Kano, does not get better.

Note: Pool was 950th when I started, now we have miners with more hash then that Grin

Oh heck...I remember when it took days, not hours to solve blocks. That DEMON block was the worse tho.

This is why we need the pool to be at least 5% of the network  about 52 ph

I feel if we could do 5% to 7% steady we could be a player it would really be  decent for at 5% blockfree or blockless days would hardly ever happen

No offense meant, but your statement seems to mean you want 'more power' and less little guys. Where should we go now?
