there we go!
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I've seen a couple of other posts with the same results after a nominal underclock. My buddy here had the same result. His is stable as well now. Good luck.

Thanks. So far so good after about 1 1/2 hours.
Currently have three S7's and the one S9 pointed at Kano. I'm sure my electric meter is spinning wildly. LOL  Shocked

Edit: 26.14TH on the pool.  Cheesy

I'm really surprised we haven't had people just freaking out and jumping ship on this 24 hour dry spell.

This is just normal Tongue

Anyone freaking out is just looking at his feet when it should be the horizon ;-)

Exactly!  Think at least 100 Blocks people!  A couple of days means nothing!  Cheesy

Yep...that's for sure. Pool hash rate stayed steady through that tough block because when the going gets tough, Kano ckpool miners do NOT get going, they stay right here and mine on!  Cheesy

@Citronick: Thanks for the chicken legs pic - they looked awesome!

It's very nice to have the PH+ gang at the top of the pool stats. If we can get some blocks rolling and get back to our normal luck, we'll pull in more hash.  Cheesy

I'm sure we'll recover, but when people are losing $1K+ USD per day due to bad luck, it hurts and the 100block #'s mean diddly..

Just remember when your making $2K+ USD per day you may have to keep some for when there's bad luck Tongue

Yeah, but if you make $2K USD profit a day on the highs, then you're losing about $8-10K per day when there are no blocks in a day.

I'm nowhere near that thank god, but when there is big money involved people don't realize that the losses are exponential and last thing someone wants to hear is 'the short terms don't matter, look at the 100block average.'.. LOL

 Cheesy

Random ideas to calm yourself down:

5 S9 = 65THs = 0.15606794 BTC/day theoretical.

7 days no block at all = 1BTC missing.
preload 1BTC into your kano payout address and stream out 95% theoretical a day to your primary address.

Don't take out more when the pool is lucky.

Get nervous when the 1BTC buffer is gone.   << less likely due to 100 block avg.
Celebrate when the 1BTC becomes 2BTC, shrink buffer back to 1BTC.  << more likely due to 100 block avg.

Revisit every difficulty adjustment.

Faulty math, incorrect data relevant to most people.
Sorry bud.

I have a lot of gear pointed here 52 th  soon to be 65 th I am a bit nervous about it. As I put up 10k for 5 s-9's

I know it wasn't.

When you have 10x or more on the line though, that is a huge hit, with costs , power involved.

We usually get back on track with the averages, but still hurts like heck when you write off a 2-3BTC loss per day.
Each day of no income can take 7days to recoup at normal 'luck'.

You are just talking about larger numbers with the same exact outcomes.

On bad luck days you don't make as much or possibly lose more.

On Good luck days you earn way more. The only difference is how much more you make or how much more you loose but that is a multiple, taken from your example it would be 10x more or 10x less.
