So far so good with the S9.
Behaving in the server room at the office.

Cant leave the old S7's out, they are still hashing along as well.

I just read on the BM site that Batch 9 is sold out. No S9s 'til the next batch. Interested to see the pricing then...

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

Yep. Fingers crossed that they come down now. Price been way way to high for way way to long.
If I hadnt drunk a litre of voddy last weekend, that S9 would still be in China lol.
Just one more then Ill settle for a while ...................

Ive got a feeling they are just going to trickle feed them out slowly this time.
At the end of the day, if you have one of the fastest and most efficient miners around you can charge what the hell you like.
Its all about making money to them and not supporting the network.

Ive got a figure I like to earn per block. Im nearly there but dont want to get greedy.
Its still fun and a hobby but easily gets out of control. Need to ground myself now and again.

S7 pricing dropped 17%. This probably doesn't much though.

I'm still tempted to sell my S9 while it can command a high price. You mentioned that option in the S9 thread.

Guaranteed ROI that way. Probably the right thing to do from a business perspective.

But as my wife pointed out, if I sell my only miner (the sticks don't really count; sorry sidehack) I'd spend all of my waking hours looking for a replacement. I might as well give into my addiction, hold what I've got, and hope that it doesn't hurt too bad this time...

Hi All,

I know there was some discussion about BlockChainInfo.com

I have bit of issue while using BlockChain online Wallet. As i am getting all minning bitcoin shares in blockchaininfo wallet. When i try to send BTC to other address i get error saying " I am getting an error that I have a large number of unspent outputs and to consolidate them" . I can send only few bitcoin . even for that i have pay good fees say for example for 5 BTC i pay $13.

I am not sure how i can consolidate the output. The address is imported address in bitcoin wallet..

I am not sure what to do. I paid $13 as fees and still is not confirmed after 1 hrs

https://blockchain.info/tx/306ad3113f634128a2c8ee461a26cc53cf56f70493993cb523f24170377e0fa5

What suggestion you will give to me about which Wallet i should use to avoid such things again

Thanks
Sky

Sky

means we got hot and hit a lot of blocks fast.

do you want me to explain why you coins were a little slow to clear.?

btc size  1 btc 10 btc 100 btc have zero meaning for fee schedule as a general rule of thumb.

go to the bottom of your transaction and look for

 Summary

Size   44061 (bytes)  So big it is huge ! even massive.

Received Time   2016-07-23 00:32:12
Included In Blocks   421896 ( 2016-07-23 01:53:56 + 82 minutes )
Confirmations   5 Confirmations
Relayed by IP    Blockchain.info

Each little transaction is about 230 bytes

 10 is about  2300 bytes

100 is about 23000 bytes

200 is about 46,000 bytes

blockchaininfo

 A)  wants a lot for your 44061 bytes  your  fee was just a bit small and you waited a while
B) will not let you do a 251 transaction.  which is about 57730 bytes

so don't wait for about 190 or 200 little transactions.

do it every 50

for 50  that is 230 x 50 = 11500 bytes send about .008 btc fee.

Sure...in a sub, and in some types of fast boats, you've got "sea valves" that are used for ballast, scuttling, etc. Open one and you get tons of water in no time flat...hopefully where you want it. Cool
