Could somebody help me? I just came back from vacation and when I turned on my miner I got this error:

This is my text for cgminer_run.bat

I blocked you for cpu mining on the pool.
End of story.

I wasn't CPU mining though? I have only used the GeekoScience stick miner...

I suggest you read through all of the related posts on this.

Nice Kano, I get very good latency results on the NL server from Iceland. Around dobbelt as fast as the Dk and De node.
Thumbs up  Wink

Thank you

My S9 Batch 3 runs at 12.78THs with stock frequency consistently with no hick-ups here on Kano...you cannot go wrong by pointing it here  Grin

My Batch 9's are running fine on Kano.
Only problem for me is the heat where I live. I have to down-clock my miners from about 11 AM until about 8 or 9 in the evening. Then I can crank them back up!  Smiley

Good move, Grasshopper!  Cool

...and to fuzion1...you'll get better rewards, transparent management, and honest handling here (IMHO).

... sigh, I guess it's not unexpected, but anyway ...

Just a point about the acronym PPS, that Eligius has scammed all their miners by changing it's meaning so they can hide their poor miner returns ...

Here, PPS is the value a share has when you mine it.
It doesn't change later, drop in half because of a halving, or even get randomly adjusted due to a diff change.

A share's PPS value IS measured in BTC and doesn't change.

To be exact, it's a function of the network difficulty, and block reward, for the block it was submitted

PPS value in BTC is: BlockReward * ShareDifficulty / NetworkDifficulty
None of those 3 change for a given share, after the share is accepted.

We don't pay PPS here, we pay PPLNS, however, there are already areas of the web site where I display information as a PPS value.
On the Shifts page, the field "PPS%" is exactly that.

Edit: oh and relevant to that also Smiley
As you can see in the "Block Statistics" table on the web site, since the halving, the average transaction % is now over 2%

Thus since halving, we have an expected PPS% return of over 100% PPS AFTER you remove fees and orphans Smiley

I've got a few S9-Batch 4's, they run fine with stock settings.

Quick question for you guys, I've noticed some of you talking about pointing your miners to a specific node. Are you doing this to solve a problem or are there improvements in the reliability of the connection? I'm a noob, go easy on me  Wink
