ahh ok i was just curious i knew we would get them eventually , but i thought i had read that they payed out once the coins matured , block a minute ago and i seen the payouts come threw to my wallet

managed to transfer the payouts from this block out of the hacked wallet fast enough before it was drained.
literally sat and waited for the block by my computer so i can do this

Search this thread, has been answered many many times.  I assume you are talking transactions less than 10,000 satoshi?  Don't hold your breath, but it's on the long-term "to do" list.

True...but you have to use Chrome to implement it. I can't/won't as it's nearly impossible to get it to run on 16.04. I dumped Prime Video for the same reason...it won't run on anything but Chrome. Interesting how they promote their "commitment to open source and btc," as well as highlighting their bare metal ops, and then pick an exclusive browser that is NOT open source, and will only run on older Linux versions (as I'm understanding, and has been my experience, at present).

Otherwise it looks like a nice device. I'm just not convinced, still, that it is any better than using a (separate from system drive) sufficiently protected inboard drive and doing one's due diligence on backup and network security.

Nah, they are (almost) always queued on time now when they mature.
I process them before they mature (almost always), and then queue a command to queue them 1 minute after they mature.

As before, that sends them to the wallet at home, out to the pool btcd, and effectively to around a dozen btcds around the planet.
So the payout transaction is out there on time almost straight away now, just that no one but us will confirm it coz it's zero fee.

It's a lot for a teenager for me to lose.
That money didn't come easy and took a lot of work all to be snatched within a second.

I have a simple question. 

I am NOT a GENIUS like MOST of the people here -- but I am able to track the progress of this theft -- and the IP's used.

Moe has already stated that he is a teenager -- I'm not sure what country he is from -- but, presumable, theft is theft.

Can we as a group come together to help him?

I'm thinking that we might be able to trace the "final" resting place for these coins -- and then either see where they are spent, or see where they are "cashed out into fiat".  With KYC and everything -- we MIGHT be able to identify the low life that stole his coins -- and then let the prosecutors take over.

Am I just WAY TOO OPTIMISTIC? 

Personally, everyone that I know uses the Trezor -- and we keep the seed words OFFLINE only -- so I HOPE that WE are safe -- but, like firetreeactual said, we probably aren't using BEST and SAFEST methods out there.  28 coins for me would be like a KNIFE IN THE HEART!  And I own a successful business that makes WAY more than that -- it is the concept.

And YES -- I also lost money on GOX -- AND a cloud mining scam -- AND, well I won't mention the last one...

Well the simple answer is: that the only way to get the coins back would be to be able to track down the person and request help from authorities.

Although this may sound odd, that is indeed the power of bitcoin and wanting to circumvent it by any other means is bad for bitcoin and would only lead to centralisation and problems.

If any web wallet said that they would consider moving the bitcoins, then that web wallet would be a wallet you should stay away from.
Bitcoin transactions are not reversible.

Who says that a transaction is valid?
The bitcoin blockchain says so, no one else.

Really, anyone (site) saying they would move some BTC to another address, is looking for trouble.
How do they decide that the request is correct?
Someone could actually send their BTC to someone else and then use that site to get them back.
The reality would actually be that the site would ignore any small requests or requests by 'unknown people' and thus it would simply become an avenue for those "in the know" or "in power" according to that web site, to be able to effectively reverse bitcoin transactions.

Unfortunately I don't have the time right now, either...and I have to agree with Kano that there is realistically no way to a recovery without involving authorities in the end...and I have no faith in that coming out well for anyone. Kano's right on that...the system was designed to be anonymous and non-reversible. Such attempts don't do the system any good.

Much larger amounts have been stolen and I have never heard of anyone being able to track anyone else down using blockchain analytics.  They can split these amounts endlessly, when does it actually leave possession of the thief?  No way to tell.  They can send some to tumblers, then there is no tracking possible since the tumbler will send them entirely different BTC.  They can send some to an exchange like BTC-e that allows you to essentially have an anonymous account.  Maybe if the amount was large enough you could get some authority to insist that BTC-e divulge who deposited it but all they may have is an anonymous email address and IP address at a library or a coffee shop in some foreign country.  Does BTC-e allow connections from TOR?  If they do then I would expect the thief to use TOR.  There is a withdrawal fee associated with that but if you traded BTC for any other cryptocurrency, transferred that to your own wallet, later transferred it to another exchange and then turned it back into BTC it would be impossible to follow that trail.  I have seen people talk up the fact that BTC is not really anonymous because of the blockchain but in reality there are plenty of easy ways to obscure coins and who actually controls them.
