>> I stand corrected. I couldn't get over 900K on a 980 My junior gtx750 can do 890khs lyra with sp_'s #50 heavily oc'ed to 1480/1575 cpu/mem
you're doing something wrong... the 980 should do around 1.5MH/s (at least with my version... not following much what is happening here) Joblo have you changed the intensity setting for the 980? The default might be too low for the 980. I was able to break 1 Mh/s with -i 21.2, any higher would crash. I guess I won't be mining lyra2 with that card. Your PSU is a good one? Cooling is adequate? EDIT: yeah, Quark is best pay right now/lately anyway. Power & temp are good. I have two monitors plugged to that card, maybe that's it.

If by "catching up" you mean "smoking the shit out of in hashrate-per-watt" - then yeah. Where have you been the past 15 months?

Made my day :-D Energy is quite expensive where I live (0.144€/kWh) and I still make at least a 3x profit on my cards. Can't wait for the winter ;-)

btw ...
it seems that not only has yaamp dropped most of the connections and is being quite temperamental with new connections ( and dropping out altogether ) - but wetshash / nicehash seem to continuously drop ALL the donation link connections and refuse to reconnect ...
we have contacted the support people at nicehash / westhash - so will wait to see what it may be thats causing this issue ...
hopefully we will have the donation links up and running once again ...
is anyone getting the same or similar issues? ...

yaamp down nearly 24 hrs now. nicehash stratums dropped for a about 15 minutes around 6 hrs ago. Could it be a coordinated DDOS attack targetting both pools? nice/west activated their annoying DDOS tool yesterday that delays a page refresh while it "verifies your browser". They ran it once before and I thought they had given up on it, but it's back. Seems to be off now.

Seems to be off now. it could be a ddos attack - or it could just be that possibly any of the things that they may be doing in the back end of the system could be causing issues ... i think they are using cloudflare - which really does look like a pretty good system for the protection of websites and ddos style attacks ... not sure how it will fare for a mining portal like yaamp and westhash / nicehash ... its all just guesses for the moment - so who knows ... even coinking.io is down as well - so its a pretty mysterious ( if not slightly coincidental ) situation thats going on ... are they all on the same servers? ... it could be that the whole datacenter they are on has issues ... will have to look into that a little later ... eitherway - its still all 'if' and 'maybe' for now till we hear from them all ... #crysx

Hi guys here are my results for various algo. I used simple config w/o any switches for all algos except scrypt ones & cryptonight algo. I used ccminer release49, cudaminer 2014-02-28, & ccminer-tsiv-20140926. I was also running cryptonight on 2 CPU cores & atleast 10 POS coins were staking . So take these results with a grain of salt. My machine is i5 4670, 8GB RAM, Win7 64-bit, MSI GTX970 & GTX750ti. I measured power consumption using APC Powerchute s/w for the cards only not whole machine. I basically noted the difference in power consumption while machine was idle & while mining. There was very little fluctuation so figures are pretty accurate. for which algos? ... most? ... yaamp is now down - the owner / dev committed a comment to their thread ... saying that their severs have been compromised ... no time frame as to when it is coming back up - only the 'promise' of it coming back up better than before ... sad to see ... this could be another multipool down and out for the count ... will see whether they get back up soon or not ... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=508786.msg11401645#msg11401645 ... #crysx

I just looked at my power meter. I'm running a modded kopiemtu 2.0 usb stick install (ubuntu 14.04) with 5x 750ti cards (Gigabyte OC with 6 pin on top), and a +125 MHz overclock on each card . With Quark on the latest commit and no -g or -i switches, power comes in around 330W total for the system.

thats a nice draw ... not much at all ... does it change when you change algos? ... the measurements we take is based on amperage not wattage ( though should be easy to convert ) due to the maximum amperage the property handles ... for a similar system ( except we have ssd drives running on the majority of systems and about 6 x gigabyte 750ti oc lp ) we draw about 2.2A ... using this calculation - http://www.supercircuits.com/resources/tools/volts-watts-amps-converter - we ( theoretically ) draw 528W of power per machine ... this is based on 240V ( australian supply ) and 2.2A ... so what you are drawing is awesome ... need to invest in a power meter for each system i think ... #crysx
