Spreadcoin is up 125% today. My donation spreadminer is very profitable.

A copy can be yours for only 0.1 btc

This was the last coin I have mined solo, I only stopped because DEV is gone for good (Mr.Spread)....I simply can't remember the hash in the 980's....but 125% is huge, congrats!  Shocked
Grin 125% is the price increase  Grin
for the hashrate it is probably just 5% as usual  Grin

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I started mining it a few days ago when the net hashrate was about 200 mhs (now it's ~700 mhs). Sold over a thousand coins for a bit over 3k sat each.  Grin
I loved this coin when it was announced but I though it was completely lost by now and now it once again have close to 40 BTC volume. If I ever decide to clone a coin it will probably be close to Spread.

Not your keys, not your coins!

yeah well, I was mining with more than that, thanx to me...  Grin
(and we know that usually 5% is within hashrate estimation error)

SPREADCOIN--

The word is that someone bought in with about 30BTC, buying up a large volume of standing SELL orders.  The resulting buzz fed a trading pump of 100+ BTC, the buyer(s) then sold into the excited market.

Good business for anyone holding a bag of SpreadCoin (SPR).  New Node development at SpreadCoin looks to keep the coin alive in the near future.

--scryptr

EDIT:  I tried sp_'s SpreadCoin miner, and it hashed on my GTX 960 SC at about 2.9Mh/s.  TSIV's last SpreadCoin Miner mined at about 2.3Mh/s on the same card.  With sp_'s miner, I hit a block (5.47 coins) within about 5 minutes.  There is no real setup for solo-mining if your wallet is not encrypted.  Just use the included batch file.

The SpreadCoin wallet took only about 2 hours to completely sync with the network.  Difficulty and network hashrate are up because of the trading spike, though.       --scryptr

The private spreadcoinminer is around 15-25% faster than the opensource. Compute 5.2 Cards get the most increase in the hashrate.

Everybody who donate more than 0.1 BTC will get it.

ah, now it is rightly explained  Grin

About SPR: nice PnD, reached what 12k sats? I still remember this coin when it was 30k+ sats, good times.

this is funny all the donation you ask for stuff you never wrote and just optimized... never thought sending to the original author
some of the donation and just keep only 15-25% of it (because at most this is what you deserve)?

your lack of decency is disturbing  Grin (but well I don't care that much...)

LOL I have donated because I have made some BTC in an unexpected P&D... Nobody asked me about anything I just felt it that way.
I have this version since 2. july 2015 and I have made enought to donate. 0.1 BTC was around 25$ at that time and my gain was like adding an 750ti which was priced around 120EUR.
I really don't care about the text in the miner.

Anyway I will not partecipate in Your dev wars.

And btw check the definition of donation. My BTC and my decision. Simple as that.

Spreadcoin is up 125% today. My donation spreadminer is very profitable.

A copy can be yours for only 0.1 btc

You're getting people to buy your miner by pointing out a pump and dump? You had to know that they really wouldn't have any time to mine before the dump - and the miner is useless for any other coin.

Really, that behavior irks me somewhat. Not that I'm a saint, but IMO it's deliberately misleading. So, I took a few hours out of today to dust off my CUDA skills and look at your X11 miner.

This is yours, on a GTX 860M: Maxwell card, compute 5.0 (NSFW): https://ottrbutt.com/miner/spx11stock-12262015.png

This is what it looks like on the same card, same stock clocks, after I spent a few hours on it (NSFW): https://ottrbutt.com/miner/wolfx11ccminer-12262015.png

Both done with CUDA 6.5. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that appears to be a 15.03% increase.

I ain't lost a step.

Nice! I wish you'd do more CUDA.

Not your keys, not your coins!

DONATION SUM--

If you donate a total of 0.1 BTC, he will send the SpreadCoin miner your way on request.  That is, if you donate over a period of time a total at or exceeding 0.1 BTC, he will honor your request for a special miner.

I had an unused copy of the SpreadCoin miner that I requested long after the initial release, so I have likely the latest edition.  I used it just for testing yesterday because of all the fuss about SpreadCoin.  It performs as described by sp_ .

I donate.  I try not to pester the programmer.  I donated to DJM34 for his NeoScrypt code efforts.  I've donated to other programmers, and I am tired of the sniping, whining, and complaining.  Also, I had several hours to do web research about "Why is SpreadCoin so hot?" before I could mine the darn thing.  That is when I found some chatter about a timed buy-in for SPR.  It happens in the coin markets, and it is not uncommon.

We all have bills to pay.

--scryptr

P.S.  This thread is getting long, in part because we all go off topic.  But if I remember right, sp_ said that he would update the SpreadCoin miner for previous recipients/donors.       --scryptr

Weird people are complaining about SP asking for money for a miner he makes. You already sold a copy of your AMD one or so you mentioned in the Spread thread. You aren't selling your cuda miner (or sell it to very select individuals) so whatever you can do with it doesn't mean jack shit, as always. Just worthless showboating.

DJM is just bitter and jaded as always people are selling stuff and he's not included.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

Are you mining With Your Laptop? The GTX 860M is not really made for mining. You should test Your code on a desktop card.
