Have had no payouts here since 14June, but believe all pendings are present and accounted for (some have reported that even some of their pendings have disappeared) . Had to move my miners to a pool that actually pays something even tho this one *produces* better. But *production* w/ no pay does not pay the electric bill. SAD STATE! I just guess that's the way the cookie bounces

I got a couple payouts on July 5th--Both for pretty old difficulties. The pool slowed down to 0.48 PH, and now just got back to 1.56 PH solely really only due to lobogil rentals at nicehash/westhash when it's cheap enough there to rent. I hoping there's lots of luck to come for BAN, so things could be caught up some more.

I feel absolutely no sympathy for people who are owed by bitaffnet. You were warned by many, many people time and time again that this was an unsustainable business model. What the fuck were you thinking? Seriously, please explain your logic, please!

I feel absolutely no sympathy for people who are owed by bitaffnet.
Me neither, It was a scam from the start & was rightly called out by many forum members a long time ago. People who chose to ignore the warnings from other pool operators, software devs, hero & noob forum members alike only have themselves to blame. What I find particularly disturbing is that most of the forum members who correctly called out this scam have been the victims of a hate campaign by certain members of this forum & one (or two) forum moderators who seem to be at the beck & call of these certain forum members, protecting him/them at any cost. It is every miners duty to air their concerns about any and all scams on bitcointalk in order that other miners don't get cheated, ripped off or left out of pocket by these scammers, as has happened in this case, after all, that is what a forum is for. Questions must be asked when a forum is going out of it's way to gag those members who correctly call out scams with blanket banning of anyone who comments in the associated scam thread - particularly when they have been proven to be correct in every respect. Forum members who are concerned & brave enough to risk their reputation by airing their concerns should not be punished or banned - they should be thanked. What kind of standard does this set? A scam is a scam & should be called out as such as a warning to others - and anyone who tries to gag/stifle/censor/ban members for doing so must have a motive for doing so, and as we all know, it's usually a financial one. The perps of this scam are still freely allowed to post on this forum & continue their scams - while the members who spotted the scam long ago are banned for trying to alert & warn fellow members. That's not right. Not at all. There are too many behind the scenes dealings, sneaky handshakes, conflicts of interest & personal agendas going on at bitcointalk between certain moderators & other individuals & is the reason why it has become a haven for scammers in the bitcoin world.

Too good to be true for a newbie first post I do REALY hope that something will change and all of us shall put some effort into this In general greed and/or stupidity preferably both is a scam haven. Folks need to change in a first place and all will be fine. Some help from mods will be welcomed also. At least they can do simple ip cheeks from time to times. And make simple announcements like this: Those accounts bla bla bla are using same ip address to post. So we can use our heads and decide what to do. We do not need ip to be revealed. Not a big deal but will be a good start What about it Moderators?

Despite being a moderator in this mining section I was one of the many who called out this pool for what it was, so accusing mods of unfairly favouring this pool somehow is rather offensive to me. The discussion about whether moderators should moderate scams or not comes up all the time and we are not going to act like police and I'm not going to reiterate the reasons all over again to appease this one thread. However, not acting like police doesn't mean we're stifled from saying what we want to say, and I've done that numerous times on this thread. Take the discussion to meta/ if you wish to bring this up again for the millionth time on this forum.

Con, First of all I was (and poster above me ) talking in general, not for this particular case Second I am not blaming/accusing you or anyone else. As I said greed and stupidity are the only ones to be blamed. Fortunately in my personal oppinion you are not stupid and/or greedy. Sometimes I just wander where are you getting strength to do what you do and how long are you going to do it. Anyway... I am just getting sick and tired of this shit all over That is all there were several times when I requested explanation for my bans and got nothing. Obviously everybody is on his own here which is pretty sad. Folowing your advise https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1134005.msg11962238#msg11962238And I am gona ask you to express your personal oppinion there. Thank you

Amen, brother! So many threads calling this pool out. So many posts proving time and again that the business model couldn't possibly work. Such absurd commentary by some incredibly vocal idiots trying to skew facts and convince people into believing the BS. Anybody who ignored the facts has nobody but themselves to blame. You reap what you sow.

This is essentially a self-moderating forum except for the most grievous offenses and for minor housekeeping by the mods. If people refuse to take the sage advice of senior forum members... well that's their fault.

People who chose to ignore the warnings from other pool operators, software devs, hero & noob forum members alike only have themselves to blame. I've defended bitaffnet quite a bit in this thread so may as well chip in. I agree with xstr8guy, the warning signs have been there for a while so no sympathy from me either, but I completely disagree with blarneystone's comment above. It was NEVER a scam from the start and it's probably not even be a scam now. What people were warning about was that a PPS pool with no fee let alone one paying a bonus was not sustainable long term which is true, but that's not the same as a scam. Anyone who has used this pool from the earlier days will have received way more than they would have got elsewhere, so it's a funny scam that loses money for the operator and makes a profit for the victim. I stopped mining the first time my payment was delayed more than 7 days, I briefly rejoined once the backlog was cleared but left for good the second time this happened, this was months ago hence why I agree with xstr8guy To s0br: Sorry it didn't work out well for you, but I appreciate the efforts you went to.

Well... The miners would have done better than on any other PPS pool, but not better than any pool. I showed that p2pool did better than BAN during the timeframe when things were all working as expected. Anyway, time marches on and hopefully people learn from their mistakes

I too have not mined there for a while now and the .37 of a btc they owe me I suppose I will just rack up to experience. I agree and mirror what Tigggger says above. As for the other judgemental, sanctimonious, self-righteous posts on here, well... I guess that's just their problem(s) seems the BAN site is down as I type this and post for interested parties AND as all my posts above, NOT to whine/boo-hoo/complain, but simply to INFORM. believe me, am not asking for your "sympathy" -- I neither need it, nor could I care less. peace to you all

The pools page works for me. 2.56PHS Even after the second block gets paid out (if it does get paid out) the pool will still be behind 200+ BTC

I have not mined there in months also. I still log into my account every so often just to see how far behind the pool is in BTC payouts.
