Our success here has inspired me.

I'm thinking about starting the same type of investigative thread about ltcgear here:
https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=22433.720

If you are interested or know anything about ltcgear, feel free to check it out.

Not sure if anything has changed due to the recent issues, but LTCGear used to have even more rabid fans than GAW. I thought about starting a red flag list similar to this thread back in September and figured that it's futile, seeing how high profile litecointalk mods and many trusted members here were so in love with it. Now I wish I hadn't chickened out and done it - isn't hindsight a wonderful thing.

Anyway, good luck with it, let us know where to visit.

lol rabid fans is not really what LTCgear has, its just a monumental amount of people wanting to get rich quick big difference  Roll Eyes.

Also, by high profile I hope you arent talking about me. I try very hard to stay as neutral as possible and to be honest the only reason I got sucked into that mess is the unbelievable amounts of mod reports I get. Being neutral doesn't mean "being in love".

Now back on topic.............I'll just leave this here

Great article thanks for sharing that!
Yes very interesting read, Was wondering if all coin devs/foundations were in favor of GAW taking over coin-swap, Now we know lol. I think everyone should boycott CS and just trade elsewhere. What gets me is Paycoin wouldn't be shit if it were not for Bitcoin. Josh had tons of bitcoin first, a prerequisite to build up Paycoin,,, that's what's wrong with this picture  Huh

I´m not surprised. Some of these people probably will end up

in lawsuits along with their employer.

Despicable people.

Someone is self-moderating themselves out of this thread. 700, 699, 698 pages now. Soon we'll be back in August and buying those $16 Primes Smiley

Could it be GAW CEO and the other hash talkers that came over back in the day for the impromptu qa be scrubbing up here as well?

I have a link to the start of that visit (rootdude):

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.msg9612554#msg9612554

CEO's posts start about 5 pages later:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.msg9616337#msg9616337

I think it's all still there.

Coinswap has $750 daily volume outside of xpy, that's $7.50 commission for the whole site.  Nobody uses it.

Sorry for a bit of a broad brush there. Can't say I have anything against you but wasn't Sy criticized for both Fib and LTCG endorsement? Or at least what some considered as endorsement. I think it's hard to stay and look neutral when one owns a product like that and participates in a discussion about it.

It'll be joshs posts going away. tell me we have this archived somewhere?

Not really. I think if we try to archive this thread with all the archived links in it we'll break the intertubes.

Seriously though, I don't see an easy way to pull all pages, but if you suspect something valuable might be disappearing please make a copy. Google will likely still have it cached, it seems to crawl every page, e.g.

It was.....awkward. What Jasin did was basically swindle everyone, including the mods. He tricked multiple communities and multiple people into his scam and before any of us know what was going on he went dark. Sy didnt really endorse Fib, but he did what he thought was best as a mod, which can be very difficult sometimes when even if you dont like someone you really cant allow someone to come into the thread and dox them/threaten them/etc.

As for LTCgear endorsement, I dont thik he ever did. I do know however when Beekeeper was making FPGA's he bought a few of them (along with some other folks). Also disclosure, I do own LTCgear shares but I also have the responsibility to the community as well to ensure its a healthy environment (as best as possible, cant be on the forums all day long as I do have a day job haha).

Now these fucking GAWtards want to make every other crypto-currency to be a scam. Listen to this Spanish asshole Renovatio go off.

Hi Guys with all this talk about delays and scams and so on directed towards Josh and Gaw with PayCoin. It made me start to think about Ethereum.

I purchased 1btc worth of Ethereum some 5 or 6 months back now and there just doesn't seem to be much of any news about its release on their website. It's obviously been delayed as it was originally to be out end of 2014. I have done a few searches and don't seem to find anyone screaming about the release nor could I find out exactly how far along it actually is.

Are there any other investors out there that know what's going on at this stage. I'm sure there is a lot of knowledge in the community please share your thoughts and any information known about it.

Thanks in advance.

Renovatio @gravlor

But you know, the guy has a oh so candid photo in black and white. Much Coder . So Russian. Very Future. Wow.

;-) Yeah this is some kind of ponziscamfud. but i dont think its a scam.
The guy will deliver probably. A game changer product? i dont think so. By then there will be tons of alternatives. And some more modest projects, like colored coins, true anon like monero or retail centric like paycoin will have the pie.

To Many Fellow Crypto Companies

Dear Fellow Industry Leaders,

Many of you charge your customers needless fees.

Bottom line, you need better models.

You need to innovate and figure out how to add real value, not just how to take advantage of the fact that "no one else" is doing what you're doing.

So I am going to help you.........We will continue buying companies in every sector of this industry.

Once I have acquired the company, I will make their service free to use.

That's it.

Think of how hard it's going to be to compete with free.

It's time to start innovating. I have been at this for a while.
