Right. Don't let people post the math on there, it may cause some more red flags. I doubt they will pay everybody equally. They need to take care of the big guys who can pay thousands of dollars for legal teams first. I believe that's the whole idea behind this. As you can see Homero is fearful of all the liability he has caused and rightfully so. You can actually picture how uncomfortable about all of this he is now. At least all this bullshit creates some volume for people to get out on.

Naturally this will require a FIAT maintenance fee.

Maybe cantor Fitzgerald ripped Homero apart and now is cleaning up the mess until they figure out how to bankrupt and close the company legally.

+101%...Exactly... Grin

Don't forget that XPY has a 12,388,217 coins in existence as I type this ...extract 12,000,000 premined ...so the FREE Float is ONLY 388,217 coins available...  Wink

How many are already "locked" in "hashstackers" ...let's guess ...like 38.217 ... Huh

So maybe 350,000 are to be "Covered" @ $20 "Honor" BS ...350,000 x $20 = 7 million $$$ ... Huh Huh Huh

This is what GAW is trying to estimate with "Honor buyback" Program...IMHO...Capisco... Huh

The BIG QUESTION is ...: Is GAW worth 7 Million ...5 Mills ...To be able to cover this buyback program... Huh

We'll see ...

What are you guys thinking?

I'm thinking all the big fish such as Craig and Volder are gonna want to exit with this honors program. They will stand to make a nice fortune at that price considering the price they paid for their XPY ($1-$2 reportedly).

So there might literally be millions of XPY put into the honors program. The guys who are saying it might take years to repay really aren't kidding... If the exchanges don't get close to the honor price, then I still think Gaw might be fucked.

I really think I'm the only one on hashtalk that don't BELEIVE the shit josh is typing. He is just stringing everyone along...I asked him about the "removing liability" post and he won't answer anything.
I call it the "sleight of hand trick".

You're not the only one. It's just that everyone on hashtalk has to watch their mouth and not ask too many critical questions or they will face the wrath of GAW's tactical censorship team. (I'd guess ~95% of critics/disbelievers are already perma/shadowbanned.)

Why?

Litecoin is over 3 years old and still enjoys user adoption increasing every day by small merchants. You know, there are many people here that believe in the inherent value of cryptos well beyond its worth, which is something apparently that escapes your grasp.

Just for your edification, the reason LTC is down so much is because of Chinese exchanges. They play God with the price of cryptos with leveraging, shoring the hell out of BTC and LTC. It allows people to short and at some point they must be called/paid back. The significance of this is that those traders see LTC as a backup, therefore liquidating their LTC to pay for BTC shorts that didnt fare well.

At the end of the day, we see a reduced percentage of LTC worth versus BTC. And not just that, LTC price is also anchored to BTC.

/sigh

I can't believe Homero is forking out a dollar of his own money.

The lawyers and/or SEC must really have his ass behind the eight ball. He must be thinking it's this or anal-loving time in the federal pen. That's the only thing I can see separating Homero from his money. Certainly not his word which has been proven time and time again to mean nothing.

I don't know boys, I think Josh is doing something right if you people over here at BitcoinTalk are looking like you're nervous for this $20 repurchase program. Try spreading more FUD because really it just makes your case look weaker while GAW and Josh just one up you guys over and over again. Luls. I think some people are afraid to admit they lost. Maybe ya'll are jealous of his good looks idk.

What does this have to do with LTC? Straw coin argument?

Guys seriously leave Josh alone he is running this company great. Are you trolls not happy with the $20 honor program? Seriously stop with the FUD already Paycoin is doing great and so is Paybase. Josh is GAWesome and everything is going great now.

With a name like that you're not very convincing Smiley

I can't believe Homero is forking out a dollar of his own money.

I doubt he is. This will likely trigger a rise in the exchange rate sufficient for them to dump enough extra coins to cover the 100k for a month or two, if it even comes to that. Also don't underestimate their ability to wiggle out of their obligations.

For example here's how "free hosting" worked out for GAW customers: when ZenCloud came along it was said free hosting doesn't apply because Zen is a separate company. But it wasn't reinstated when GAW acquired Zen and they became the same company.

Third party escrow sounds interesting, but I'll believe it when I see it. There is all sorts of shenanigans possible with overstating the amount of coins and thus lowering the payouts without ever needed to fork over 100k per month. They can still do it even with an escrow - by putting a few million of their own coins in and diluting the others that way.

Naturally this will require a FIAT maintenance fee.

I'm certainly jealous of the ability to lock in some coins into a "vault" for an unspecified amount of time. There is nothing else comparable to this amazing feature, except GAW's own Hashstakers to some extent.
