Yes, I agree. This is all very interesting, especially from a psychological point of view. What interests me here, is behind this all some other 'master mind' or is it only Josh? Is it possible that a person like him devise and foresee everything that happened or he simply adapts to the current situation on the fly? Really mind-blowing to analyze ...

I for one, dont think Josh is the 'master mind' behind it, just the public face. Several of GAW's idea's were actually clever, if you look at it from their perspective. While spelling alone isnt a good measure of someone's intelligence, nothing I read from Josh suggests he is anywhere close to clever.

Maybe it's Mark Kerpelles behind it all lol But seriously, if Josh was smart enough to set it all up then why use email and text for communication and let yourself be the fall guy? There are services out there that can be used to mask communication, why wasn't he using them if he was capable enough to code all the prime controllers and Staking?

If you read all of the documents you will see it was not only Josh. Eric, Dan, even Joe and many more were involved and complacently assisting and even directing in some cases.
There are about to be a bunch of birdies singing though, and ol' Joshy-Jett will be the one in orange while the rest cut a deal.

Transaction fees go to the pools and the pools decide to pay them to the miners. Anything else, including off-chain solutions are stealing and not the way Bitcoin was intended to function. Make the block size set by the pool. Pool = miners and they get the choice.

With any luck anybody involved with the scam in a promotional sense will get theirs. Glad I haven't sunk a penny into this crapcoin, I'd feel guilty sticking somebody with it when I cashed out.
There are an unsettling number of members of this forum who don't have the slightest problem making profits from this scam and have been doing so for months. Maybe this data dump will prick their conscience, and if it doesn't they probably don't have one.

Beautiful work, hacker(s). Someone could write a master's thesis with the primary source material you've provided. It answers every question I usually have when watching something like American Greed. "How exactly did X occur? What were the mechanics of it?"
Now we know. We know all of the mechanics.
Except we don't know everything do we? There was a huge 2nd historical data dump which nobody has managed to grab in it's entirety. That was an error considering the technical capabilities of some members of this forum and the fact that we have been waiting for such an event for months now in order to bring down Josh.

You read through that whole conversation and I am envisioning the movie "Boiler Room" - what a bunch of pie in the sky, sunshine up your ass salesmanship! That whole conversation alone indicates the high level of fraud involved.

Add the fact to there actually being investors to the coded staking addresses to the list of thing that have me surprised. I'm shocked they were actually able to get people with money.
that said, still little sympathy from me, I haven't gotten through all the shit but I still haven't seen one thing that would be close to a legitimate reason/method of how they were going to get the price to $20.

Oh then there's this gem.... Turns out Josh knew Paycoin was doomed as early as December 19th. This CRYPTOGRAPHICALLY SIGNED email will tell the truth. http://pastebin.com/VvNwBHZ7 (DKIM Signed) Subject: I had a dream
and I just woke up thinking about it. And it's not a good one.
Our entire paybase and xpy model is flawed. It has been to begin with. The crazy thing, no a single person or just has ever brought it up.
Here is why. Let's separate things in to two buckets
The first is people that buy xpy directly from Paybase at the full price of $20. We would need to escrow every penny of that right? Because that person would want liquidity for every penny because they paid full price. Right? Makes sense. Only that means we never can use that money.
Now that not the issue. The issue is way worse then that. As the above only means we would have to make money some other way. No, the issue comes next.
Let's assume the the following it true. For the next year, for whatever the reasons are, the price of xpy only goes up to 18 on the open market. Maybe it will go higher, but let's agree that it's out of our control and that's the case.
So this would then mean, a person would be able to game us forever. They could go to the market, buy for 18 and come sell to us for 20 over and over and over again. Outside the limits we out in place, there is nothing we can do to stop that.
This then also means we would constantly loose money from this. Now here is the scary part, combine the first thing i said. If we are escrowing all the new xpy they buy from us, where does the new money come from to cover that spread?
Now, multiply that by 10 million, and forever. Coming together now? The entire model is flawed.
This is a big deal.
I am working on trying to figure out anyway around this. But the issue is the entire model is built around these concepts. I just can not believe I never thought of this before. There is no way this will work
I will have amber call a meeting so we can talk about what options we have.
So it seems that he KNEW he was going to fumble this, but ran with it anyway... Premeditation? Not sure why he thinks no one had thought of that, I've posted it here (and the solution to it) here many times, and do did many others. It's why the $20 number never was legit. If it was, instead of sitting there and crying when the market was only at $18 (ha) GAW would buy the $18 coins so that they could pay off their $20 liability for only $18. If they ever were to actually pay the $20 per coin, they and other people would put so much pressure everywhere else that the price would b $20. Shit, look what Gox did to the price of bitcoin everywhere even though it was impossible to get cash out there. In hindsight, that would have been the smart play for them. Honor the $20 on paybase but come up with some shenanigans to prevent the cash from leaving while dumping their coins elsewhere.

Are you talking the ones openly stating their opinion and playing the predictable pump and dump or the ones who are activily shilling and trying to pump it by creating new bag holders? I dont think the first lot cares and honestly its a free market and they made their position clear. The second mob are still pumping this crap on HT so it wont change. Edit: I have to ask how this thing is not in its last death spiral. It should have been finished days ago but this last dump... People are still actively propping up the price for god only knows what reason. This could shut down totally at any moment. Better a few cents on the dollar than nothing at all right?

First post under this new alt. I'm a semi-active user on this site, but I'm going to be posting under this alt for any discussion related to the giant dump of GAW information that got posted yesterday. I am going to start digging into the materials that were released later today.
Is there an easy way to break his work up into chunks and distribute it. I wouldnt mind doing some analysis too but going over the same area as others would be silly.

I managed to read a number of those and they were as, if not more, damning than the first lot. IT's why I am so confident now that GAW is toast. Josh is AWOL, and the lunatics are left running the asylum. The end game is now in sight.

A peek into the HT looking glass this morning: Some signs of intelligent life evolving on Planet HashTalk. Unfortunately the Banasaurus will likely eat them before they can have offspring. https://hashtalk.org/topic/33060/fake-emails-or-fud-my-personal-conclusion/50https://hashtalk.org/topic/33061/new-gawceo/24Most of the deluded over on HT are still unaware of the giant mass of Emails that were leaked last night, thanks to the friendly mods on HT helping to keep this scam alive for yet another day. All 50,000 of the emails leaked last night are fake , eh? Cool theory bro. Even the random one I posted a screen of last night from Scott Booth which he verified was the real deal? (Sorry about that, by the way, Scott. Just figured it was a clear way to verify these- and I removed the phone #s) This guy wins the whole internet for today: I suspect he is on the menu for the Banasaurus.... P.S: I was wondering what the price of XPY would be this morning, and lo and behold, it is STILL at .0023! Hard to fathom that there are people still willing to prop the price up after this latest round of information that validates what has been said in this thread for months.

Curious which school you went to Vlad2Vlad, I see you make mention of it in nearly every single post including those leaked emails to Homero. Which school did you attend that disallowed such a bright fellow to get a decent job exactly?

I agree it would be good to split up the review and start a master document that contains all of the most relevant information, linked to the source archive(s). Posting in here in random chunks makes it very hard to follow. Feel free to start aggregating here: http://www.reddit.com/r/PayGAWD/

So people "over there" sold their cars, wives, daughters, houses, begged, borrowed, stole money to buy paycoin to make a nice personal piggy bank from which Homero can detail his car for a couple grand, and Stuart Fraser and his wife and daughter can play on the internet while vacationing on Florida. Isn't that nice. Stupid question: do you wash an electric car like Tesla with water?
