Hey coinbrief guy, has he really contacted you about this? He says he's giving you some time before he posts ... if that's true, what did he tell you?

They can't claim (credibly) that the DKIM signatures were forged. They can't claim that someone hacked into Josh's email -- on two different systems -- months ago without looking like idiots. I wonder what sort of proof they're going to try to claim?
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Gotta love how the implication bandied about on HT is that everyone involved in exposing this scheme automatically believes every single thing that is posted, and that some fake "evidence" has been inserted in the past and therefore all evidence is fake. Most people here are wary of every shred of evidence that comes along. I was right up front about being suspicious of these emails when they first started being posted. To me they just seemed like text and could therefore be forgeries, although they would take a great deal of time to fake. Now people who know about a bazillion times more about encryption and email systems have verified that most or all of them are legit. If they were actually fake Mr Ganza would be throwing a fit and attacking with lawyers, instead he is just hunkering down and hoping the shit storm blows over.

All of my posts are simply statements of my own personal opinions based on available information and pondering what might be possible considering human nature, with the goal of finding truth and preventing fraud. Please look at all of the facts and theories and put your thinking cap on to draw your own conclusions. If you feel that I have made a false statement or have been unnecessarily derogatory, I encourage you to please point it out, and if proven correct and/or reasonable I will remedy it. ~ Paul Revere

this shit show in a nutshell:

ready to commit crimes and fraud if it brings money. this is why price is still up. they dont care. and we shoudnt care for such people who are scum of the earth
yes, sadly, there's a ton of people that would do anything for a buck, even defraud family members and friends. Some people are just not worth the oxygen they breath

Here we have Mr Coins admitting that he is pro-fraud and pro-hyping known fraud as long as it benefits him: https://hashtalk.org/topic/32982/gawceo-emails-shock-horror-old-news/83

And yet all of the idiots on HT sitting around in their SpiderMan underpants eat up everything this asshole shills out to them. "Buy! Buy! HODL! These are not the Proof's of Fraud you are looking for!! Buy!! Buy XPy and Hodl!!"

And now this from Mr Coins:

How about those who actively promote this fraud? Like YOU. Should YOU be prosecuted as well? Without assholes like you helping to keep Buy Bids in place this fraud would have came to a grinding halt long ago. That does in fact make YOU an integral part of this whole fraud scheme.

Not even sure why I try to knock sense into those people over there, CLEARLY it doesn't work.
i know how you feel. Somehow I keep trying as well...maybe I want to have hope

AhA! Sherlock Holmes' cousin Scurvey has the Paycoin price manipulation all figgered out:

Damn, busted. It is all me screwing around with .2 BTC on Cryptsy. I am controlling the whole Paycoin market with $50. It couldn't possibly be the guy who created this whole scam and has been caught saying that he is playing the XPY investors for effing fools and has an infinite supply of FREE XPY to dump into their Buy Bid walls.

Funny to see that those paycoin hypers that have been saying that they never visit BTCTalk because of the negativity here, now claim that for them the emails were old news that have been on the "forums" for weeks so nobody should react to todays news in any way.

So everyone seems to agree, that this thread is the place to be if you want to stay up to date with XPY things, but only for the smart ones. All noobs are asked not to visit any forums outside HT because of the "toxicity"

Good question there's something we have not been able to see behind the smoke and mirrors yet.  All will be revealed in good time though.  Even Kim.com's MEC Megga coin is only at 4500 satoshi and he has a lot more market depth and a way smarter and richer guy behind it but still no use to these alt coins they havent done anything BTC can't the only reason why LTC is bit more popular is because China adopted it.  So fuck your alt coins there's no reason for an alt coin to exist. yet.

If Coblee had created Litecoin within 12 months of the bitcoin genesis block they would be virtually neck and neck right now.  Bitcoin had a 3 year head start and that is why it has the massive network effect it has now (and the unparalleled arrogance to go with it).  Simple

And not only will they buy, they'll buy 13,000 at a time - with not the slightest fear about throwing 10 or 20 BTC at it or buying straight up the sell side of the order book.  I guess people still have the idea that they'll be getting $20 per coin for them in the near future?

I've never seen any coin market act like this before.

I think a whole new psychological term has to be coined to describe it, something along the lines of a warped stockholm syndrome.

So I decided to reach out to the admin "PCfan" on HT about his "proof" that cryptographically signed emails are "false".... His name is Austin Lamm, apparently.

Urgent: Coinbrief Article Update
To all that are following the story on Coinbrief and Gaw. I have grave doubts the story is true with what I am looking at on my desktop(I have email from the people named absolutely verified that these are false emails) . While I can't say much more yet, I don't believe the all the facts have been laid out and there is more to come. While we wait to hear back from who we need to to clear this all up I will be directing all talks to this thread about it.

To be direct: I have seen proof the emails are false.

Turns out, HE'S UNDER CONTRACT WITH JOSH to post such things!!!
