Is XPY dead enough to let the thread die as well? I think the dead horse has been beaten enough that there's no horse left.
It's not only about XPY, it started way before XPY. It's mostly about Garza's ventures and failures and some crooks and fools he dragged along. Its quite a shame. But isint Garza long disappeared in the wind? Last i heard he was actually gone before 2015 and didn't go to the court summons. I'm not aware of any new Garza venture since then.

He was active until about May 2015 when his last scheming attempts failed. Now he's quiet but we know there are investigations by SEC and other agencies, as well as lawsuits by customers so there is hopefully a final chapter coming.

Hmm, well of course thats just FUD and rumors but we knew he went to Dubai i think during winter 2014 and iirc some people said it was employees who were posting on his behalf after that.
But still, its been for quite a while that we did not hear from him.

I'm just curious what city Josh Garza is in so I can alert the local media and maybe they will write a story about him. It would be interesting to know at least the city. It might be useful if I planned to sue him for fraud also.

too bad inmates can't post on the interwebs(idk maybe some can). it be frikkin awesome for homero to post here from his cell.(im thinking ahead) i think he'd kinda enjoy it in a weird sorta way. hed probably start crowing about how he was the king scammer and how he maticulously planned the most awesome crypto scheme ever and suckered in the likes of rich arabs with millions to splurge and poor greedy peons who spent their last dime and maxxed out all their credit cards. i know everyone here would get a charge outta that. well i would anyway
Keep dreaming if it makes you feel better. Josh will NEVER spend a day in prison or otherwise incarcerated. But, enjoy your fantasy. Alright Asshole I'll bet you 100BTC that Garbozo ends up behind bars. As you already owe me 100BTC, Hey Scott you down to escrow? let me know when JoSamiam666 deposits 200BTC in the wallet of your choosing. Oh and check my sig as to where to deposit my winnings. Thanks dude! I might bet $20 in bitcoin, but I truly believe he will never see a day in prison. He may be convicted of something or sanctioned by the SEC, but he will never do any time in prison. Make a bet up on bitbet.com. I imagine the SEC should be the least of his concerns at this point. FBI, IRS, DHS, the list goes on and on. Money laundering for terrorists will catch up eventually. There were a number of people after Josh for money in the middle east but have not come forward to report their losses. You would not report the amount of money you have lost if you received it illegally. Who were all the guys that Josh was pictured with his cars being received in Dubai? I think he sold his cars to pay back some of the money when Phil wouldn't give him access to the Coins but I guess it wasn't a very smart idea to give the Coins as collateral and need to sell them to pay off the mob at the same time. Garbanzo seriously thought that he could trick the mobsters to go after Phil & the PCs, worth thousands, rather than the moron who ripped them off for millions. Dream on Homero....your @$$ is gr@$$.

With the money he might have made with the Huge XPY scam, i would imagine he would be sipping martini on some tropical island or some such. Maybe wait until the stature of limitation wear off and then launch some other projects from the shadows.

Friendswood is a town in Texas founded by the Quakers where he grew up. Its near Houston. Who steals 10 million dollars and goes back home? He was having a ball in Dubai and Belgium until the heat got turned up on him. My guess is somewhere in Connecticut or another safe haven country.

Garza probably just had a simple disagreement about the structure of their Drug, Booze, and Fraud laws, just as he had a disagreement with Mississippi Power about the "structure" of their service, which includes having to pay for electricity.

The lack of fact is specifically what make it nothing but speculations. If he was so close to home, i would assume there would be some news on his location by now. A bit hard to leave with so many people losing so much money and no one batting an eye or go out looking for him in the obvious places.

The mob makes people disappear everyday without a single trace. That is, if ever such an organization were to exist and perhaps need some money laundered with new technology only to find themselves risked in a federal investigation of some sort by some fraudster who was a bad actor.
