Guys what are your toughts on dec 29?

you dont think he might do that?

Do what? Do I think he will run to brazil by Dec 29? Or are you just asking if they'll fail to get the paybase actually released by then? The answer to both is: I wouldn't doubt it.

At this point, it's clear that there will be something else that keeps people from selling for $20.

My guess: People can sell Paycoin for BTC, but only up to a certain amount before they have all of the Paycoin they "need" as a "reserve."

Real Talk: They don't have enough money to support the floor. They thought they could get away with much less actual money behind it just by creating a demand that builds on itself. That didn't happen, so they're in a bad spot.

Homero is predictable if nothing else. I knew something seemed fishy about his actions today. They just reeked of desperation.

Even though paybase truly isn't fully baked, I think there's more to this behind the scenes. This is stalling. Being half-baked never stopped them from releasing a new product/site before.

I just don't buy his confidence in creating that floor. He has changed his mind so many times before. I think they're still trying to figure out the floor problem. Hoping maybe the market can work things out for them. I don't see an endgame that doesn't cost them millions and millions though. The problem with setting the floor is he is essentially taking on 240 million in debt for 12 million coins. Every coin is fun coupon worth exactly $20 and payable right out of gaw's pocket. And those coins are growing at a rate of almost 1%. And every coin he sells for less than $20 is a net negative because gaw may have to pay $20 for it at some later date.

I just don't see how this doesn't end very very badly for gaw. Merry Christmas Homero!

Think this way, todays pump and dump never touched his wall, the lemmings are so predictable that it is enough to put a wall and make the announcement,
and all of them will buy buy buy from their own pocket, when he announced that shit, i saw how intensive buy orders were, that wall never took hit, and he just took the order later...
so the conclusion is, he almost drove the price right to the 16$ withouth spending a coin!!!

He is smart enough for that... We were wondering why he wont buy tose cheapcoins while they are dumped right in the beggining, but nope, he didnt even spend a coin to drive market up... and the fact is, coins value is determined by peoples faith in it, and currently his influence is enought to keep it at 10$ + and thats something.

I can think of the scenario that he will release that base thing, prices will pump up...
besides christmas is bad time to scam people, if he do, how can he be confident in his and his family security...

My prediction.

Paybase allows people to buy and sell XPY , fiat and BTC within paybase with no KYC but withdrawls will need KYC , thus affording at least 3-7 more day delay. Issues with the plugin and paybase may arise if people start buying too many things with their money directly.   From now till the KYC starts getting approved expect plenty of special deals on the hashstakers and some big special announcements like a free gift of a non liquid hashstaker locked for 6 months.

I'm asking if they will buy back with 20$? how can they workaround this one?
i mean they wont be able to use lemmings to buy for 20 this time...

Ohh man josh comes to sort out and re-energize the gawfaithful dissenters:

@Tom_Ewok said:

@GAWCEO Why not make the price rise progressively on the exchanges using bots while waiting for Paybase to launch on the 29th ?

Quote from: GAWCEO
We are watching the market. And silk intervene if we need to.

In the spirit of keeping Paycoin from becoming centralized, we must balance our involvement with the open market. Give it some time Smiley

Wow... so the reason he pulled back on the bots was because that would make him more centralized? How is this any different than paybase opening and taking those orders? Is paybase a decentralized exchange now?

And their lapping up everything he is saying and thank him for it.... yes, thanking for this steaming pile of bullshit!

I agree.  I think Suchmoon should do the same.

I should do what? Not following, sorry.
we're all assholes and you shouldnt hang with us is what i think they are implying.

i do like the idea of a rational chat between you and josh that all can see to address our concerns. not dance around them i mean specifically answer with facts. josh wont do it though because suchmoons too smart and would remain respectful and keep directing him to specifically answer the questions. josh wouldnt like that.

Ha ha, if that's what that means numanoid is overestimating me. I'm just "some random guy on an internet forum" like someone said a few pages back  Grin

I don't believe an honest chat is possible or useful, but since I'm clearly biased there are definitely other possible ways to address the wider audience outside of HT. Judging by some of those tinychat Q&As I'm not too hopeful though.

I'm amazed by how often bitcoin startups forget to look and a calendar and/or take off for holidays.

If they were planning on having off for Christmas Paybase should have been up and running and coasting by Christmas or the launch should have been planned for January.

If these guys take off for New year's people should riot.

This ^ . Scheduling any kind of product launch for the Christmas week is suicidal, many respectable software sweatshops consider the whole month of December off limits.

Yeah, everything hangs on this question. I haven't figured out a way they can do it yet. I'm assuming they don't actually have a 100 million wall of money to throw at it though. As others have said, I think they find a way to wiggle out of it yet again. I'm not sure how long the cultists will accept that, but they are pretty damn gullible.

The plan, if there is one, looks disjointed so far. Was the attempt to pump the price unsuccessful and the launch had to be postponed because of that? If that's the case then something else needs to be put in place before now and the 29th.

Also note that verification requirements have been relaxed, but there is still no firm word on quantity limits, it says "We will manange" instead "we will buy", and the plugin, gocoin, debit card are all coming later, i.e. there won't be a way to spend the coin either. I might not mean much, but it certainly leaves some wiggle room.

Btw, when they occasionally aren't sold out, who's coins are they selling there? I thought the premine went to the investors and hashpoint miners?

Regarding the ever coming delays to everything, at some point even the most gullible has to start thinking about the discrepancy with seeing huge profits on his screen, but not being able to actually liquidate them

I consider that, there might be no credit card, no adoption, and all the paybaze screenshots are just one time photoshops (looks too good for GAW, and that short perioud of time)...
if thats the case GAW thing will be over this year, and we'll see hunt for them...

or

He really intends to pump the price, but using lemmings buypowder, and same untouchable wall trick... he really can pump it, no doubt.
Is there any way we can get confirmation from those big companies that GAW claims will work with?

Maybe they implemented hybridflex on the law, as what was earlier a must due to the law, seems now to be ok to forget. I'm sure any Paycoin holder must feel all these very weird changes that are always ninja-announced in their guts already.
