Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I sent my deposit a second after the timer changed over and I was two seconds early. Refreshed and everything.

It's not, even though yesterday there was a deposit that was two seconds early that showed up on the site. I really don't get this site's script.

Does seem like a big drop in volume.   I don't remember what yesterday was.   60 deposits and the last was at 12 seconds.   This is turning into a 10 meter dash.

I think 1MVivb3Wt8AaTyFskyPmugqT3YXYMKXMd6 or 196hrrnGFarWbE9zhzNuvi3R2GVjCM196e is last to win as it is now.

Wait..

Transactions are not in order.

This one is before https://blockchain.info/tx/b8c60fce425ccbfc4ebd88212ad01ef132f56c5b07b4a9dbca8323e3042cbc01

but listed later than 1MVivb3Wt8AaTyFskyPmugqT3YXYMKXMd6 (https://blockchain.info/tx/526ff7fe2ef64187e72a2d6eb88051575d8611ec1579453180fcc2078cb89da5)

If that's the last one to payout , then the margin is way too narrow.. that guy deposited in the 2 second region.  Shocked

edit : i hope today OP manually checks before sending, spoke to him yesterday.  if it's still the same i think tomorrows volume will only be <50 , 40+ btc.

If he goes in the order listed on the site, that's certainly what it looks like:

They're definitely not in order on the site, though. Sad

I think website is not in order. There are 2 payments made at 00:00:00 and they seem to be above 1MVivb3Wt8AaTyFskyPmugqT3YXYMKXMd6

So it might not even be that address..

Let’s see, how many of us called this? Just think of all those people not posting and what they think? There are so many people getting burnt by sending it a few seconds into the game do you think they will come back? They might do one more to see if they are faster but seeing it get tighter and tighter volume will go down. And yet everyone has been voting to keep the 24 hour game. This week’s weekly game was flawed and still paid someone that was 1.5 hours after start. The first one paid with for more than a day. Had the op not run 24 hour and shored up that game it easily could have continued. He very well might have signed the death sentence for his games. Or at least a much smaller following.
