Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I would be fine with either one. I would be fine with 00:00UTC because that is when he said it was live. So far the addresses I see are still :52-:59 If he lets this fly then how soon will he for the next round? There is a reason for the rules.

I will let blockchain catch up on all the payments. Then I will add the addresses. Then I will enable payments. Continue to deposit, that's fine.

I can't agree more with the comments regarding the early payments.
The integrity of the OP is paramount for this website continuing and not dying. Without the trust of the "punters" it simply won't work.
He clearly stated the rules; people broke them; therefore they need to learn that there are consequences.

I hope the OP goes by his word and everything time stamped before 00 utc is just a donation and used in the weekly. There was probably 35 BTC before the game was live. I hope people that cant follow rules get burnt.
The time didn't complete until almost 0:01 UTC. It should before the count down was zero! Wait I might have miss understood you. Are you saying it was 00:00:01 UTC or 00:01:00 UTC? I watched only the timer for the game not the real clock because I wanted to be on his time. |
