I have removed all those deposits made before 0:00 GMT and added them to donations.

I am now adding all the addresses and when that's done I will enable payments.

Thanks,

will you send donations to top of 24hour ?

whats wrong with weekly??

Let the ball start rolling in again

0.5 BTC at a time, an average of 10 BTC an hour would be nice Smiley

If you did that then the receive time would be closer to 00:01:00, the website was almost a full minute behind.    A suppose it is possible that different people saw different countdowns depending on how it was built.   Still you could have also checked UTC time and saw you were sending before 0:00:00.

The website timer is probably a little flash or javascript timer. It's not really running on the site - it's running locally on everyone's computer and it very definitely drifts; the longer you have the page open, the more it drifts.

The only time that can be trusted for this is the timestamp on the blockchain.info page for that address. That's the timer that I used. Smiley

Hey!
One of those are mine, and I patiently waited 5 seconds after countdown reached 0!
If OP dont want to pay that, then just refund back.
But I promise I waited more than 5 sec.

look at the time on blockchain .

I was not looking at the blockchaint time.
I as looking at the countdown in the website.
And the countdown has expired and I waited extra 5 seconds for that...

here is a proof.

I guess it should be expected that people will try to cheat on something like this.   Personally I think the OP should make a rule that the timestamps in the blockchain are what count and state that deadline time as well as the countdown timer.

A truly fair implementation would have a "pace" transaction and anything before that wouldn't count in the game.   The pace transaction would start the race just like a real race.   When it hit the blockchain everything would be fine.

Something like: 0.00012345 from the fee address so no one could spoof it.

These should all be counted as donations, since it goes against the game.
Else its unfair for these to profit since they went against the rules.
That is an unfair advantage.

Yep. because next game people will go 10 mins early. Where do you draw the line? I know there you said in the rules. Very clearly I might add.

The one at the top is correct.

Fair point.   That is why the time should actually be stated too.

seems the address 13owojW2yGUE1wjHNDfCiAD6yP85onjMhC was 1 second too early, but it is shown on the site list

I wonder if game vs blockchain is off. I saw more then just those show before the game started. It might be the 3 btc in the donation address. The ones that are showing on the site might be early by the blockchain but not the OP sites. Only a guess though.

I seriously think a very hard line should be drawn.   Otherwise it just isn't fair.   Counting a donation is pretty harsh, but maybe a refund wouldn't be so bad.  But either one should be done.

The question for me is, what he does with people and their 8 secs of error...
To keep them as donation would not be fair!!
Definelty not!

Maybe a refund minus the 5% fee?

Attention! 24HourPonzi will launch when the timer hits 0. Do not deposit until Day #1 or you will lose your deposit.

Timer hit 0 when I sent it.
