Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Great to see WeeklyPonzi is doing great. It is near 100 pages! Anyway, might be playing 24 Hours Ponzi when site is back. It is faster.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

These 0 fee transactions are a real problem.   Weekly/daily scripts shouldn't be including unconfirmed transactions.   I realize the bitcoind kernel may be picking the inputs, but your scripts are probably pushing the balance too low forcing it to use unconfirmed inputs to a transaction.

Two possible fixes:
1) Don't add a deposit to the game until it gets at least 1 confirmation.
2) Take your fees last after sending the award.  Then some of your fees would end up with the long confirmation times instead of the player's awards.   (Probably wouldn't work 100%)

Maybe people are just trying to mess up your game as most of these deposits are small.  Typically 0.05 BTC.

Sorry I can't be 100% sure how things map through the 1Week address.

EDIT:  I think some of these spilled over into the 24Hr game.   I can't be sure, but that is a good guess.   This type of problem tends to build for a while before some miners finally include the 0 fee transactions.

This 24 hr transaction looks like it might be one of those, but I don't have 100% proof.

tbh, i am glad the 24 is starting tomorrow, was consolidating my wallets earlier and somehow managed to send a dust transaction, binding my entire blockchain wallet up, first deposit to the 24hour was supposed to be .16btc, but somehow ended up coming out as .0039427 (most of the funds from the input were tied to a tx that had next to no miner fees), yeah i may be out .003, but i have an opportunity to make it again tomorrow

Exactly. I tried a different one last week and they shut the doors after 4 hours and ran away with the money.

Thanks to OP for sending 20 btc to the game.
But this will be dead if the site continues to be down all the time.
Do you add the down time to the remaining game time?

Same question here, surely seeing as its been down for about 12 hours now you'll be adjusting the timer to keep it fair?

Can I get some advice on sending multiple payments to this and other ponzi sites?

Say If I have 5 btc in my wallet and I want to send  5 lots of 1 btc.

At the start of a round should I just do them one straight after another? Or is that bad because the network hasn't synced and my balance is still pending confirmations to update.

A suggestion to OP. Since the site was dead for most of the time now, please consider increasing the time frame to 14 days for this one alone.

And please do not run two simultaneous ones, etc.
