did someone really just deposited 20 BTC ?

It's OP, he really did a nice thing. I'm glad all that talk was not for nothing.

It should have been like 56 BTC and it should have been done like 22 hours ago when it would have made a difference.

Did you think he would do it? How about all the people that got double payments but sent nothing? At this point you have to give him credit for trying. How many of us would send 20 BTC to help fix something. Most people would have said it was a mistake and the people stole it from you by not returning it.

Not sure if you saw but 30 mins ago the OP sent 20 BTC to help catch up. Pluss the 6.5 that was given back.

I missed it because I had checked before that.   It is something but basically it is still too little too late.   I think the game would have really taken off of the problem had been addressed right away.   62 BTC - 6.5 BTC - 20 BTC is still a short fall of 35.5 BTC.   I'm surprised at myself but I fell sorry for those 35.5 BTC of players (I'm not one of them) that should have been paid.   Even though they were gambling in the first place.   I just want to see fairness.

More then that he should be waiting 10 mins. Or he should atleast put his ill-gotten gains back in the 2 week one.

Maybe I'm wrong, I hope so but right now I don't have a positive impression.

I agree it is late. But he was giving time hoping people would pay it back. He waited about 8 hours while he slept for people to return. 1 person did and that was it. So he gave 20 BTC to help correct it. It is not perfect but more than 99.9% of these operators would do and the players.

Exactly this. Because you do not know if it will be counted as a donation or not.
