Hey Null,
First, I'd recommend using --scrypt with bfgminer. The code has been modified and cleaned up by kano and it works with a little less overhead than the original cgminer (it is based on it and works the same way).
Give me a day and I'll have something for you to play with. If you come up with anything yourself before then, please post it here and we can work it out together for everyone.
Thanks

mattzor - I'm no expert, but EVERYONE says nVidia cards are worthless for mining. That said, I'm using one, but I used DiabloMiner to be able to. Nothing else would accept it. It's not my only card, but I couldn't just leave it sitting there.

Thanks,
I'm using reaper - Which does accept the card, it's just dog slow even though the hashing speed is quite good...
I'll give DiabloMiner a go instead.
Cheers.

Well i it looks like a lot of work even to get bfgminer to work. Cgminer just starts up and im good to go... i just dont have the optimal conf.. Let me know if all the copying and installing of libraries for bfgminer is worth it Concerning cgminer.. this is where i am at right now: i get 573khashs running 1100/1375, i do get a lot of prevhash-stales... so maybe i should try at another pool ? setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 .\cgminer.exe --scrypt -o ltc.kattare.com:9332 -u <insert> -p <insert> -w 256 -I 13 --shaders 2048

Wooop,
I've gotten a whole 0.5 LTC since I started mining lol >_>
Totally not worth it, but hey ho =]
Maybe buy a new GFX card when my quarterly bonus comes in =]

My miners can't connect from home nor can I hit the IP from my (non-mining) colocated boxes.
Tracert shows failures getting to that IP form XE, Level3, and Hurricane Electric bandwidth. Another DDOS?
Edit: About an hour later and it seems that I can connect again. Weird...

Congratulations, Mr. Burnside! You've mined 1000 blocks! And thanks for providing such a nice pool

Come on whats going on... pool communication problems causing stales.. why is this so hard? Yeah, stales running around 10% currently. Hopefully it drops soon.

I had to jump ships after my first 12hrs with kattare, was getting 30-40% stales, on the other pool it's 1%< so it's not a problem with the cgminer config like I read in some posts above.

The stale problem is specifically with Getwork... Burnside has stated he is working on getting stratum up and working for ltc.
Once stratum is running, I'll be putting all of my "power" behind this pool.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. This was the first pool I ever mined for and loved it but the stales were killing me ~10-15%. As soon as stratum comes online I'll be mining here exclusively.

This is my first time mining on a PPLNS pool, so maybe someone could help me out.
I was mining on notroll.in before the big scam, and I was getting around 10-15 shares per minute. Now I switched to Kattare, and with the same reaper config I'm getting 1-2 shares per minute. and my speed is down to 262.
Also, getwork always took about 5.3 seconds on notroll.in, now I keep getting 15,35,45+ seconds etc.
