Of course no, Bitcoin cannot die for like decades.
According to prediction this fall was normal and was expected.
I think it is foolish to think that bitcoin is dead because of this many people are panicking and selling their coins which is useless. I think this situation is good for buying bitcoin and holding them , we know that the price will rise so just wait for the right time.

Exactly. Bitcoin will never be dead despite what the mainstream media says, or what its value would be in the long term. We can never expect for the price of an asset or currency to always go up. There will be times where prices decline making it the perfect opportunity to buy and grab a stake of. No matter what Bitcoin's value would be in a couple of years from now, Bitcoin will remain the same in crypto land if nodes and miners are supporting it.

What really determines the death of a cryptocurrency is the lack of development, and nodes on the network. So, even with at least 1 node and miner on the network, the cryptocurrency would be alive. Consider the number of nodes and mining hashrate that BTC has, making it very distant to become dead anytime soon. Its decentralized blockchain technology will keep it going, and more people will join the revolution making it bigger and stronger than ever. Before you know it, Bitcoin will become much more valuable than what it is right now, and capable of handling large transaction load thanks to upcoming improvements such as the Lightning Network, Schnorr Signatures, and more. Just my thoughts ;Dt

I think bitcoin will not die ,its value going down in the coin index is just temporary, there will also time it will go up,business and investment will also experience ups and down, this bitcoin is popular and many people will patronize this currency because it's useful in the future.

I think it is.

Bitcoin use adoption has stalled. Media interest has dissipated. Prices have only slowly continued to decline for a long time now. Bitcoin securities have always been and still are a complete mess, with a near 100% failure (scam/fraud/incompetence/etc) rate. Mining has been concentrated in the hands of a few giant players, eliminating much of the advantage/security/democracy of thousands of individuals being the money processors. Alternative forms of online payment with US dollars (and other fiat currencies) are now cheaper, faster, and more secure than bitcoin (and of course far more usable to buy/sell real goods/services), eliminating any of its advantages as a payment system. Continued decline of bitcoin and strength in fiat currencies has put the lie to the idea of bitcoin as a store of value; there are far better more reliable hedges against inflation. Meanwhile the real economy is firing on all cylinders, stock markets are at all time highs, corporate earnings are higher than ever, unemployment is low, etc. Even amid the boom, no one cares about bitcoin any more. Bitcoin was a fad that lasted a few years, and is now on its way to being forgotten.

Thoughts? Anyone seriously disagree with this conclusion?

No, bitcpins are not dead, their price are just going pn a downfall this days and its been months sinces it last pump but it doesn't mean that they are dead. It jist mean that the bitcoins need oir help to support them a little bit nore. Because they are going down because a lot of the people selling their cpins but when we all buy again a lot of bitcoins they will surely gonna invest again because they will gonna rise again to the market.

If bitcoin fans are still around, bitcoin will not die.
Prices are down, there is a regulation of state taxation laws, I do not think bitcoin will die.

The recent declines are seen in the graphs as well as the usual situation experienced within a certain period of time. Many people started to make unnecessary and ridiculous comments without knowing the events, unfortunately. Especially in view of the more severe declines seen in the past, today's stresses are quite normal.

I think so too. Everything we're seeing now is just only temporary, as Bitcoin will rise back up again in the markets. More people every day are realizing Bitcoin's true potential, and have decided to buy and hodl it for the long term. And once Bitcoin reduces its fees and becomes much faster than ever, it will experience greater adoption in the mainstream. As such, Bitcoin will remain the top cryptocurrency that will serve as both a store of value and a payments processor.

Given the huge amount of interest that Bitcoin has experienced lately, it will be hard for Bitcoin to die anytime soon. It will remain alive if nodes and miners continue to support it for the long term. In the meantime, all we could do is buy Bitcoin while its cheap and preserve it for many years to come. Just my thoughts Grin

I think no. Bitcoin wasn't dead. This was 2015 question but I will answer today 2018 that bitcoin aren't dead. Suppose to be bitcoin going strong to middle of the day and the middle of the night. Bitcoin becoming strong in the middle of all the people in this planet. Bitcoin now moving onward and forward year goes and year pass and bitcoin still survive and still here. I really admire the way how bitcoin was implemented in crypto. Crypto now is not just for bit coin but almost altcoins in crypto. The life span of bit coin will continue til next generation.

Bitcoin is not dead . the things are moving forward, but it will not happen overnight, no world changing invention was developed in a single year, and it may be years yet before Bitcoin is ready for mass adoption and.

Agree. Bitcoin is moving forward with improvements that will make it bigger and stronger than ever. Every day, we see more people joining Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and it tells us that the pioneer cryptocurrency is far from becoming dead anytime soon. For Bitcoin to be dead, all its nodes and miners would be taken down to cease its existence. But, given that Bitcoin is widely distributed in different regions across the world, it's nearly impossible to shut it down.

Of course, there will be FUD all over mainstream media and governments trying to destroy Bitcoin. But all failed attempts to do so, have made Bitcoin stronger than ever and resistant against any of these attacks. Despite all this, only time will tell what the future holds for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in existence. Just my opinion Smiley

It never happened to be dead its just that the bitcoin are still goes up and high and thats normal to change the price into a lower value and turns to a high value. We users need to hold it until it turns to bigger value .Be patience and it never also be dead because many people are been using it.

This is something reasonable with the decline of Bitcoin prices but some people zoom in with the decline of Bitcoin prices. they may be interested in the impact of declining Bitcoin prices.

Please do not entertain negative feedback because Bitcoin is too big to lose and in fact the price now is increasing slowly so it is a good indication that Bitcoin will rise up soon. We all know that there are so many dips but don't be discourage but instead take this as opportunity to invest additional coins and then hold until you have reached the desired income. There are speculations that Bitcoin will rise up soon and might surpassed the highest price last 2017 so let's be patient and wait until it happens. Bitcoin is our future so this will not end.
