We're currently 17th in terms of total 24h volume of all coins on coinmarketcap.com
It will be #9 if you filter non-mineable and premined.

Read https://twitter.com/vanillanewsbits/status/612402595714498561 and look at what the other coins in the top 75 are offering. Also, there have been a number of zerotime commits on github recently. That means its release is getting closer.

This is the meesage I got back from Coinwarz Hello Macca, We don't currently have support for the Whirlpool mining algo. Can you provide some hash rates for an AMD Radeon R9 290 or geforce gtx 750 ti? Regards, Tim CoinWarz.com - I assume therefore that they would list if they had some facts about Whirlpool Perhaps someone on the management team would like to take this further? Edit: Say R9 290 is 600 MH/s and GTX 750 Ti is 80 MH/s.

Please explain the logo to a simpleton like myself
I suppose it's an ice cream on a stick implying it has vanilla flavour. Actually until recently I thought that it was a white USB connector like the ones on Apple cables

Actually until recently I thought that it was a white USB connector like the ones on Apple cables And my guess as to the use of the term Vanilla is that it is an old reference to UNix based kernels or original unmodified software...aside from the fact that it is a darn fine ice cream flavor. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanilla_software

Possibly implying that it was created from scratch and not being a fork of another coin.

Currently, I think R9 290 is ~475 MH/s. What are people getting with smolen's miner?
Not sure on the GTX 750ti. Anyone have one?
I just switched to smelter and I am getting around the same hash-rate (475 MH/s) with a 280x. I have 2 rigs with 2x R9280x in them and each is getting about 980 MH/s according to the miner. Pool is reporting anywhere from 800 MH to 1,200 MH each, depending on luck I suppose.

Actually until recently I thought that it was a white USB connector like the ones on Apple cables When I first read about the design, I thought the branding fit really well with android operating system brands, and that if this is a coin that works exceptionally well on phones, that also fits. Ice-cream sandwich, Jelly Bean, Kit Kat, Vanillacoin.... sort of fit in. Could also be how it blends in and sort of does anon in a new way, or just a tasty flavor or old programming reference. Anything is possible I guess.

I ask as watching my pool hash rate it seems to drop down quite a bit at regular intervals before returning to normal. Say 5 minutes out of the hour. It could be random luck I guess, but was curious as I cannot find a lot of information about this miner.

I think it's just a placeholder just like the name. I would never keep Vanillacoin as the final name.

I don't know if it does, but the quark miner he released before that had that kind of fee in place. Smolen please speak. BTW, my miner is as fast, it's based on sgminer and doesn't have any fee.
