The new Weekly Write-Up is done! Took a little longer this week because... well... I was sleeping most of the last 48 hours. View the new Write-Up here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18ZQsYx0dYWV-mlO8szVAYKJfaVZMueH_crS0UMzBfbk/edit?usp=sharingAgain if you have any comments, questions, suggestions, or corrections... please let me know! Special thanks this week to SmiGueL for making me a special chart! If you ever see someone complain about "people post too much shit here, how is anyone supposed to keep up with things!" just link them this. Great write-up! Thanks for all the details and especially the direct post links! Thank you! If you can think of any way to improve my Write-Up, let me know. I want this to be a powerful resource for new investors a year from now who will not be able to read 20,000 forum posts. I had to go back through 27 pages of posts for this week alone... I cant imagine coming to ASICMINER as an investor and trying to make heads or tails of things... I only had to read a backlog of 100 posts or so.

If you are nobody, how did you get the news? Not having a go, just asking .... I'm getting uncomfortable with news being leaked out, and shareholders being the last to know. If there is news of delay, or any important news for that matter, friedcat should release this info to everyone, not have it leaked out. Knowledge is money. Based on the news he's put out here and in the past I'm fairly certain that he isn't party to any privileged information, but he is able to read the websites and statements that are coming out in China. Come on.I am just a normal bitcoiner from China.Nothing special. And i can read and write Chinese&English. That 's all.

This is correct. So don't be pissed at him... be thankful and give him a tip (I have in the past) to encourage him to keep translating things I will never understand, and be on the watch for new info. Without him we would be in the dark on many updates. Why has friedcat not told us himself some of these things? Because he waits for things the be finalized... Aha...I don't think this will piss me off.I will keep on it. And,tips are welcome. Thanks.

All I was trying to get at was where the news actually came from. Apologies if you thought I was upset with you. I wasn't. "Websites and statements coming out of China" - I understand that. Just why not post these same statements in English? Seems to me Chinese investors / potential investors currently have advantage because they get news much quicker than us. If kind sir "yuchuanzhen" hadn't passed the news on, we would still all be gloriously ignorant of the delay. What is the actual website this stuff is getting posted on? Is friedcat posting there, someone else from AM, or AM partner?

Sweet! So I am starting to look into things a little closer... the total number of shares we can account for seems to fluctuate a decent amount. I remember I asked why not all 400,000 shares could be accounted for and friedcat explained that after the issue with GLBSE there were several shares that just never got claimed. Then you were able to pull more shareholders from blockchain analysis then I could... and it was close to 400,000, so I gave my attention to other things. This however does not explain why the number we can account for does not stay static... Is there a simple way to merge this into one sheet? Track changes from week to week for individual addresses and then do further research into those addresses with changes? I am willing to do the legwork on this, but I am wondering if there is a simple way to have a program do most of the work for me.

What happens to the dividends for the unclaimed shares?

What happens to the dividends for the unclaimed shares? A more intriguing question is: why would someone not claim their shares?

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's. This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

Can't they then set up a different address and send a mail to Friedcat to have it changed? I guess people had to give an e-mail address to GLBSE to register there so that is how ownership could be proved. The only reasons I can think of that makes sense to me is if someone died or went into a coma, lost their memory or went insane.

I dont think the people can even remember that they had shares
