Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

indeed - does that include the blades?  If not, it's acceptable.  If it includes the blades, it's a major miss.

Well, the major group buys are supposed to end on friday, so it probably doesn't include them. I don't know what kind of deal has AM with the resellers. Maybe they pay after selling, not after ordering.

It is a miss either way: mining divs are low - I'm holding, but I can totally imagine a sell off to 3.5

Just curious. How many blades have you personally purchased? I have bought 0 and have no plan to buy unless they become more attractive price wise.
They are exactly the same $/GH/s than the smaller BE.

Hobbyist will prefer the cheaper, more fined grained hashrate offered by BE.
Serious miners will look for bigger ASIC solutions offering a better $/GH/s

If you look Blades GB threads, people do not seem to rush to buy these compared to BE. Also, people are waiting to have more details about the new blades. Why commit to buy a current gen blade when the next version will be available anyday?

I'm holding forever as well, only I don't think that it will ever go to devcoin value. I think we will see some beautiful dividends in years to come Smiley

I came across that when searching, thought something else was meant since these seem to have no value at all.  Guess I took the message in the inverse of its intended meaning.  Can't quite wrap my head around the point of all these late to the party valueless virtual currencies.

It would be cool, but what gives BTC its value is the spread across miners.
More income = less miners = slower adoption = less total value.

10% to 20% is well chosen value.
