After much planning and preparation, I'm proud to announce that Havelock & TAT Investments will be providing a new venue for you to trade full shares of ASICMINER.

This asset works much like ASICMINER-PT on BTCT.co, with total support for importing & exporting of direct shares as well as ASICMINER-PT & G.ASICMINER

This passthrough also pays 100% of dividends!

Launch Date/Time to be announced soon! Imports are being accepted immediately!

As part of this launch the other fractional passthrough, named ASICM, will be renamed to AM100, to make the names more informative:
AM1 = Full Shares
AM100 = Fractional Shares
NOTE: None of the fractional shares are currently eligible for importing into this new asset (TAT.ASICMINER, nor AM100).

Full details here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=253673.0

Fantastic news!

So what is the advantage of this one compared to bitfunder and btct.co ? And what kind of profit will TAT get ?

The advantage over BitFunder is that the trade fees are lower, and the export restrictions are better at Havelock.

The advantage over BTCT & BitFunder is that I will allow importing of other PT shares (ASICMINER-PT & G.ASICMINER) without having to go through Friedcat first.

Havelock is paying me a small fee to manage the asset in order to have it on their exchange. There are no management fees against dividends.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

As part of this launch the other fractional passthrough, named ASICM, will be renamed to AM100, to make the names more informative:
AM1 = Full Shares
AM100 = Fractional Shares

I don't know where this terminology comes from but it seems to me that "I have 100 AM1's, so that's 1 AM100" is easier to understand. It also feels like AM100's should be better than AM1's. They're higher! With the way AM is going, an AM1000!

One advantage is clearly that direct share owners can buy and sell through the exchange. This will increase liquidity *a lot*

how the process to do that hasn't changed...

That's confusing as hell. Best to keep these 2 PTs named in relation to actual AM shares rather than each-other.

215 shares gives enough dividends to buy one more share this week. (For those interested in reinvestment strategies)

This is the number I watch to determine whether share prices are reasonable from a historic standpoint. I prefer the number to be under 150 for me to purchase.

Yah but that's kind of an arbitrary way to think about it. You're are essentially just thinking about APR based on the latest dividend.

I consider it more of a short-term P/E that makes it simple to see where we are.

Indeed my friend.

As soon as the Friedone speaks, the art of levitation will be applied to the share price.
