If China is such a heaven, why do Avalon need to bribe a DHL manager to push their devices out of the country? And why doesn't friedcat reveal his name? I live in a post-communist country and here the less attention you receive from government organizations the better.
Avalon bribe a DHL manager because they want to push their devices out of the country ? evidence please?
Friedcat was showing his self in the conference in Shanghai.

Just two question can makes you thinks the same way with me: Did Friedcat deducting any mining revenues because he said he need to pay electricity or rent?
So who pay the rent and electricity? further more , You really think AM is Co??? if it is why should Friedcat not deducting your BTC to pay the electricity and rent?
Again be realistic, Friedcat just want to ensure BTC become succeed by contributing his effort in it ,also by giving out more BTC to the public.

He is a visioner, this what I thought of this guy.

ASICMINER is a part of Bitfountain, which you will find is a legally registered company in Shenzhen. That information is on the first page of this thread.

Electricity and rent are probably deducted from the hardware sales revenue. Why on earth would you think rent and electricity would not have to be paid if there AM was not a company??

Don't bother answering - the amount of irrelevant and unsubstantiated misinformation you are cluttering up this thread with is unbelievable, and you are hereby ignored.

I never say that BITFOUNTAIN need to be pay rent regard to whether they are company or not. They must pay rent for sure...I just stated that Friedcat isn't deducting rent and cost of electricity from our dividend, because he is a visioner , he want us happy, make more BTC and if we are happy , then BTC can get more chance to go succeed...

BITFOUNTAIN is a company that registered in GLBSE which is closed , can you take out any specify information to prove that shows BITFOUNTAIN is a company registered with Chinese government ,and in its article of incorporation (article you will require to registered a company in China) shows they were a company that dedicating in BTC mining and selling mining rigs. please do not bother, share with us.

You really think Chinese government will approve that company that mainly mining BTC ?Again you are over estimate by that Chinese government are so fashionable... (If it is registered with the government , it can not be that they are a company that dedicating in BTC mining,
To registered company in China ,you will need explain what you doing ,and many of areas are prohibited to be registered by natural person.)

Electricity and mining are deducting from Hardware revenue? who tells you that Huh  Before they  sales any miners to the market , they are not deducting any rent and electricity from mining either.

People please be realistic and logically.. Some folks are seems knows nothing about China.

Josh: "Then stop asking for updates, it's that simple. If you want updates and estimates, then they will tend to be modified as time goes on. If you want 100% accurate information, then wait. There's no other option."

Josh: "So I'm curious how you know how many orders we ship per day?"

User: "How about you just tell us?"

Josh: "Because it causes more problems than it solves, so that's not going to happen either."

There is a glimmer of a reasonable question in there, so I am going to rephrase it:

Bitfountain is registered as an IC company in Shenzen. Has anyone actually looked up the registration?

There is no lack of demand for Asicminer shares so I don't see any reason to use company funds on paperwork that only serves to attract potential nervous shareholders. The blockchain shows the money coming in and going out and the hashrate proves the existence of the hardware.

good morning, I was able to get a hold of Jim who had been taking care of IR for several weeks now. I think he will be in the office in the next couple of hours. I'm not sure if you guys have been talking with him already. Reading this thread it seems very unlikely. He did mentioned the salvage tax issue is being hashed and processed in the NPC orphan depository. I agree it sounds a little undefined at this point in the game...Ira

Yifu's name and face are known. He doesn't seem to have gotten any bad attention from the Chinese government.

They are dealing with potential security issues in china. e.g. ngzhang  doesn't drive his own car anymore, doesn't use his old cellphone, doesn't live where he used to...

They have physically secured the transportation route between them and the shipper in hopes of preventing damaged avalons (said 6-7 Avalons had  broken corners or damage).

Avalon bribe a DHL manager because they want to push their devices out of the country ? evidence please?

could any one tell me, how to give a non-exist tracking number to our customers?

first, we send the packages to HK-DHL agent.

agent transport them to HK, a few days time.

packages picked up at HK.

after about 1 week, they will give us the tracking number if we ask for.

to most country, 1 week time is enough for a delivery.

if anything goes wrong, like custom issues happened or wrong tel number or something , our agent will call us, give us the tracking number, let us contect with our customer. i think multiple people get my email when they having custom issues or DHL can not find you.

why we use such a screwed work flow?

1, save shipment cost.
2, if we go to DHL directly, they didn't accept this device, there is PSU and FANs in it, which is contraband. only these agent can send them out by doing some bribery work. if we tell them we are not satisfied, they simply ask us to deal with DHL ourself instead.

fuck

I beg you guys to use your google next time.

Sorry for the off-topic (anyway, the thread has gone mad lately), I'd like to find those pictures of a BFL minirig full of tape, glue and other crap. I'm pretty sure it was posted on this thread, though I cannot find it. Anoybody would be kind enough to give the link again?

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

After reading through this topic, I wonder if it is not possible for ASICMiner to sell subsidized ASIC mining devices that are firmware locked to mine 25% for ASICMiner and 75% for the buyer.

This way hardware can be cheaper and ASICminer will not be tied to a centralized location. Better for the Bitcoin network, better for ASICMiner, and better for the miners (assuming the devices can be sold at at a 25%+ discount). Possible?

AM shouldn't take business decisions based on what some paranoid (+ often racist) people think about them. Clearly today AM doesn't "own" too much of the network to risk network stability. And clearly competition is increasing.

How would selling equipment that mined 75% for AM help? People would just say AM were finding "trojan" ways to take over the network ....

Forget it.
