There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

So FUD is Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. I think it's a harmless expression. Was not my intention. As a bearer of bad news it is not good for my reputation, I know. Hope you can go on with this investment, will be clarified soon I think.

FUD is based on feelings and is there for not really a geniune concern as it's not backed on proof and evidence Smiley
I understand you concern but threads have a tendency to spin out of controll very fast now a days which is why I try to stomp the fire out fast before it spreads.
I will contact FriedCat but I had contact with him 12 hours ago and then he was fine Smiley

I agree that FUD stated as acronym sounds more serious Smiley

As with pirate there is no evidence, not for it and not against it. I have red the thread completely, and in the end it sounds too fantastic. Huge income in one week, huge THs/s. Perhaps you can prove it.

If you knew the technology, you'd know it's possible.
If you don't know the technology - that would be quite a risky business for you.

I know enough of it, very special circuits for very special tasks, and very efficient. Some people are working on it (as much faster replacement for FPGAs). Because they are very expensive, I also had interest as a participator. But do you have enough knowlegde about the details? I think it's complex and expensive, isn't it?

Sorry, with all the respect, but you definitely use the word "very" to often to convince me that you know much about anything. Smiley
He already said everything. To make the chip in China you need about 100k USD, plus ~20% reserve for unexpected issues that may arise - if they don't arise he pays them back as dividends.
The chip is basically made from FPGA application, which there are many of such out there already - turning it onto a fixed silicon makes it much smaller and much less power needy - as for my knowledge likely around what friedcat has published.
After you make the mask, or whatever they call it, a single chip costs you like.. nothing. At least comparing to today's prices of FPGA.
But there are also many risk factors, that I am sure you haven't thought of, so take your time before you eventually believe or not Smiley

Seems logical considering the market correction to re-open the IPO and sell to 200,000 shares.

If the first mask / fabrication fails it would be a terrible thing to face liquidity issues for a second attempt.  If I had more cash I'd commit to additional shares for this reason.

as the technology has been tested for over 10 years, it seems that the failing rate for this kind of projects is low enough.
and other people are dying to sell production lines from 5-10 years ago because nobody else wants it nowadays - which this chip is all about; using a cheap scrap to mine money. (no offence) Smiley

...

This was my thought also, but instead a confusing discussion about "resort to preorders for units"

He has said before he doesn't have access to internet at all times only when he goes to internet cafes etc.
//DeaDTerra

In fact no. I do have access to internet and don't have to go to internet cafes. But I'm in a different timezone from most of people so I may not reply timely enough.

Update

The mailing list for board members is created. A welcome mail is sent. More board members will be added to the mailing list.

If any existing bulk purchaser who already bought more than 500 BTC worth of shares and hasn't received the mail, please PM me so that I wouldn't miss anyone. Thanks.

I see that there are already 117837 shares sold - so that should be about enough, assuming the current price will hold.
But friedcat said that he would wait till the end of the week, since some bulk order reservations had such a due time.
