so AM just drops a bomb on the day after dividends are supposed to arrive that theyve been having the exact problems that people thought they would have 3 months ago.

Dropping a bomb, after stating themselves that we can expect "aggressive dividends" nonetheless.

not when. could be a misunderstanding with financial reports since FC would probably be in a freaking rush right now. no time for investors' cuddling.
TaT already made huge profit with AM and he just doesnt care about it anymore since its clearly now that begins the real, slow, big and stressful part of the business. Plus he dont get to deal with noobs buying shares via Havelock. What a relief.

Yes, in fact nothing IS wrong. Books are looking brilliant. Not even fiat conversions are an issue. Keep trying...

I see you're into losing money.  What's that fetish called?

Then when we got word that the chips didn't quite spec out as well as anticipated, but we still saw 2 huge IPOs of former AM chinese shareholders still get pushed through to the public. That shouldve been the biggest red flag.

I only know of rockminer which is currently selling hardware. How exactly is this a red flag?

Everything that TAT insinuates in that chat long aligns with the narrative that AM is going to be bled out by rockminer, xtbec, and any other franchised buyer of those chips.

How exactly can AM be "bled out" by its customers?

come on, you're smart. I dont have to spell it out.

Consider any landscape where FC et al. want to wash themselves of AM's shareholders.

Its a hidden way most people lose money. Nothing to do with BTC securities. I took it as a joke.

OK, jimmothy:

You own stock in company A, which makes widgets.
I own company A, and want to make your shares worthless.
I form company B, and form a contract to sell it my widgets at laughably low prices.
This bleeds out company A, while I get to keep all muh munyz through company B profits.

So now you know Smiley

Not a whole lot. Or at least, not a whole lot that's provable. It's way off topic for here, I thought I was on the tab with the wall observer thread open where tinfoil talk is much more acceptable and Exchange Stabilisation Fund connections have relevance.

O, K.  I was more interested in people who intentionally lose money because they enjoy it.  For instance, vortex1878 lost a sizable chunk of his "investment," and he couldn't be happier!  I'm not judging, just curious about weird kinks Smiley

consider if friedcat et al. own rockminer and xtbec.

First of all that is simply not true and can be proven to be false.

Second, why would it matter? If AM is selling chips why should we care who is buying them?

Do you really think FC owns any of the known 4 companies manufacturing hardware using AM chips?

Ok it does matter I misspoke.

Still do you really think FC owns any of the 4 companies?

This is an extremely risky and not so rewarding conspiracy you are suggesting.

I thought this doc was interesting as well:

Why immersion is the cheapest and best way to mine Bitcoins

Quote
For Bitcoin miners, the catch is a different one. At current capacity, we can only build a small number of these large-scale systems this year, and we are building them in the USA. We don’t have all the time in the world and aim for a 10MW facility in addition to 10 single container systems in 2014 (and of course we aim for scaling up production). We don’t have a VP of Sales with a suitcase full of data sheets and powerpoint presentations. We are a small team, and we want to work with a hand-selected mining operator or two, shoulder-to-shoulder.

What we do have is a price of considerably less than $1 per Watt and that includes everything, including switching on the power button to bring your cluster online if you want us to, no matter if you need our help for the first deployment, for the second one, or all of them.

It will be interesting when some of the public manufactures release earnings. If the margin is high then we know who is taking most of the profits. I wonder how gen4 is coming along.

But the last few months have raised enough questions that this needs to be explicitly addressed in a manner that involves official statements by many people not acting under a pseudonym that can be examined by some independent group of people. but that's the american way of dealing business. and i would be shocked if that would happen here.

any company worth their salt, and as TAT plainly states, FC et. al are millionaires; so any reputable business people that operate a company that generates millions in revenue wouldn't hesitate to spend 50,000$ on documents, lawyers, and independent reviews that plainly show whatever you claim.

but we're talking about people who operate in a country that is notorious and rife with fraud in business dealings.

I'm not terribly excited about what happened here over the last few days.
Based on a few of the balance sheet assessments, I tend to agree that AM is setup pretty well over the next few quarters.

However, I do see a time where investors become too much of a pain in the ass - and totally unnecessary.
It would be better to buy them out, and become more private/

If it were me and I wanted to kill off investors.
I would cut off dividends.  Shut them out for awhile.  Let them panic.  Let the value tumble.  Buy back their shares.  And carry on.

No conspiracy.  But, we have become a really big group of whiny bitches.  (myself included)
Regardless if it's warranted or not - I wouldn't want to put up with us.

This is actually a good but ethically questionable idea
