Anyway 27th is coming up soon so not much point speculating, but my personal thought is that not only will we not receive any dividends that day, but we won't hear from friedcat that day at all either.
If they don't come on the 27th, panic, FUD, stock goes down, I buy more. If they do status quo. No biggy. It will be big in both cases Experience tells me that events of the 27th occurring or not occurring on time is not a make or break with the investment although it may have short term effect on share price to those investors who see otherwise. We've already been well acclimated to these situations when it comes to AM. |

But this thread seems to be 30% people who wonder where the divs are and "whether AM is dead", 60% people who expect dividends on the 27th sharp, and 10% people who realise that the 27th is a probable date ("divs should precede or coincide with the financial statement (as soon as converted)" and "financial statement (supposed to coincide with divs) can be expected May 27th"), but no deadline, definitive div date or anything. But I stopped trying to predict what the price on Havelock does, lotto numbers haven proven themselves easier to forecast for me. |

As I stated before it's a small volume of the total shares trading on speculation rather than value that effect the current share price. This was easily spotted when the price prior to Gen3 was higher than when we had a proven ASIC. Where you'll have a better appreciation is when larger volumes attempt to change hands but so far we see what appears to be ripples and a few small waves in trading on Havelock having a disproportionate effect on share price.

Random thoughts: 1) Major Asic manufacturers (Those with the ability to print the chips for pennies per g/h).. are setting up industrial mines, but to my knowledge, they are all privately owned.. 2) ASICMiner is the only Asic manufacturer that is partially publicly owned ( Either privately traded or via traded via Havelock). 3) There are only (approx) 400,000 shares TOTAL. (A very small number honestly in the corporate/stock world) 4) Friedcat has the foresight to set aside Divs to cover 2 years of Lab and employee costs out of the 'Gen1', to fund (paid for already) Gen 3 AND 4. 5) He pioneered 'franchise mining' and has NEVER done Pre-orders. Both directly benefiting shareholders. 6) He has planned for the most cost-effective mining environment possible with immersion cooling, forward planning where costs become critical to success. I don't know of any other Major ASIC vendor/manufacturer that's planned this far ahead, Paid for, with $ in the Bank. How can we NOT go to the moon? Ignore the current trading values for shares. Friedcat is a long term kind of thinker. You can bank on it.  Shhhh... Keep things like this to yourself Let them worry about the divs! |

Well the last time I checked the price was about 0.5, and your suggesting total batch div's of 0.18... Lets spread that over an an average company's Quarter earnings.. netting a measly 38% dividend based on percent. Wall Street would have a wet dream over this RIO regardless of future stock value. Yeah, I am personally content waiting... But hey.. Your mileage may vary.. |

Yeah, it doesn't look very good to me, especially considering how lumpy the dividends will be.
Has anyone put together a dividends history? I've already taken available dividend data from Havelock's AM1 and BTCT's ASICMINER-PT but that doesn't go back before 2013-03-06.
Also looked at 115tTroRo3B9ZDQ6ATJGDCHcNEVbjJoZnF (this is the dividends address right?) but strangely that only goes up to 2013-02-24.

Side Question for anyone with a solid realistic non-fud based answer... or other suggested conclusions Based on the below... a) When div's stopped, AsicMiner had 47TH approx according to eripo at the time... b) Havelock last div payout March 30th ... Last 'block' found at above address on April 9th c) Regardless of increasing difficulty, 47TH today should mathematically net a minimum 2 blocks per month.. So either, a) Friedcat has started mining to a different address.... and we'll have a nice div surprise. b) Since April 9th to May 22 he has had REALLY bad luck...and not mined a single block.. c) The 47TH was taken offline and gutted to be upgraded into a new Gen3 Farm. d) .... Other suggestions what may have happened? TL;DR; -While we have all been speculating and waiting patiently .. Friedcat's farm hasn't mined ANYTHING? Not realistic. Gentlemen, what's missing? 4) When are the new chips expected to start mining in ASICMiner datacenters and what hashrate are you currently planning on deploying?
re 4) May-June for air cooling and June-July for immersion cooling. They are only capable of 3PH. Most should go franchising or as chips for other vendors' OEM products.
