I'm trying to get people to use better metrics than just wild stabs in the dark, and unsubstantiated personal opinion.

As I said earlier, if you don't think the company is worth more than X, don't get involved.

The market values companies with less capabilities than Synereo in the Billions.

Of course there is a slope from now until that point approximately 18 months from now, and you are free to draw it your own way.

Make no mistake though: Financial support of a start-up company that has not yet launched its product or earned one cent can only be regarded as speculation.  It's not the value of the company today that you speculate on, it's the future value you need to think of.

Again, the idea of valuating this company (or any other) by using hacked terms borrowed from the stock market (or others) is not going to work for anything meaningful.

There was no "private crowdsale".  It's all one thing.
The pre-sale has been going on for some time now, and it is included with the total.
They will all be released at the same time, at the end of the sale.
The other details can't be calculated until it is over.  Stay tuned.

We do not do a "market cap" - that is something the exchanges have created.

A lot of hot air and hand waving to try to hide the fact that you are holding on a 96%+ premine which you can sell as you see fit, and that puts the total capitalization of the AMPs supply to a pretty unsustainable USD 285M+. If people thought that Ripple distribution was terrible, Synereo is so much worse and sufficient to suppress the price for years and years. Just look at Ripple's price to see how a company can effectively capture entirely upward price movement by continuously suppressing the price with its premine.

Don't buy into this scam people. Just look at that community manager who is making long walls of text to try to justify how his asset magically transcend standard investment metrics that apply to all and every other asset classes under the sun including all and every other crypto. That's called BS. Do you want to buy a product from someone who is thinking you are stupid and trying to bamboozle you with long and irrelevant walls of bullshit?

Here's the thing:  You're free to have your own opinion.  But why are you trying to convince others?

If you want to do that, start with the basic premise:

Share your reasoning/theory on "the notion of market capitalization" - that is, the term that is used for stocks, and how it can apply to tokens.

I'll be the first to buy into your theory, if it makes sense.


It might also be interesting to see where you are going with all this.  What would you do today if you were in charge?



PS. Since you like to use stock market analogies, it might be good for you to compare what % of stocks are offered for sale in their initial fundraising events, and which requirements they have to meet that would be impossible for blockchain-based digital token start-ups to do.

To Synereo representatives: First, I like Synereo project and wish you a good luck! So please don't me put me into any of your imaginary FUD category.

I get it,  you had some initial plan. But it has fundamental flaw for potential investors and traders in time. But it's never too late to change it.

Main problem is risk of unexpected inflation described several times above.

Solution is easy. For example if you decide to throw 5-10% or remaining tokens (assigned for funding) yearly until all tokens are flushed into market in some evenly distributed way it would be ok for everyone. You will have funds, market, investors and especially daily traders will have transparent trading model. Current model is the worst possible. So please stop to be dogmatic, update your plans like you dev are doing daily when they find bug or inefficient code and make it right.

Again, I'm writing it only because I wish to see Synereo successful. Under current model I (and probably many others) will not invest, sorry. And I believe fundamental project reputation will suffer with this too and that's even worse than market impact. So far you only killed traction, price momentum and lost multiple investors. Though, it's not too late yet. Hope you will make it right!

I believe there is a solid plan and genuine intention to develop an innovative and valuable platform. But greed seems to be the primary driver for the funding and distribution model. The risk of price collapse resulting from inflation is a near certainty, and early adopters will be burned badly. I think I would like to support this project at a time when investment represents a reasonable chance of reward. Give it a year or 2, and if Synereo is still around, you should be able to get in a lot cheaper than today.
